Ross King is absolutely outstanding in his knowledge of the Renaissance, as his many books attest. Absolutely wonderful in his easy-going "sprezzatura" re his identification with this era and its many geniuses. I have read many of his books (even "The Judgement of Paris," about Manet and the nascient Impressionists--also wonderful). Iny any case, this talik is much appreciated-- and I'm using it for my class on the Early Renaissance in 45 minutes-- this man is a fantastic resource for easy to understand complexities of Italy and the Renaissance. Much to be appreciated-- thanks to all, esp Dr. KIng! Congrats!
