- I love to do DIY projects, and my collection of tools is what allows me to accomplish that. When I was preparing to live in my 2008 Toyota Prius, I knew that I'd have to be extremely selective about what made it into my shoebox size "toolbox." What would be the most efficient things to have with me? In this video I'm doing an audit of what I have in there currently and I'll be once again using minimalist thinking to remove that which isn't adding a level of value proportionate to the amount of space it's taking up.
The two items out of there that I most highly recommend are the multi-drivers, since they essentially do the job of an entire drawer of items:

While I couldn't find the exact ratcheting driver I featuring in this video, I scoured Amazon to find the one that I WOULD BUY TODAY if I were to somehow lose the one I already have. It even has sockets! - amzn.to/2swP7KZ
Here is a list of the other things I had in there:
Channel lock pliers
Adjustable wrench
Locking Pliers
Needle-nose Pliers
Aviation Snip
Metal file
Altoids can with sewing kit
Trowel
Tape Measure
Ratcheting Wrenches for the bolts on my hitch configuration (⅝+¾, ½+9/16)
Ratchet Strap
Folding Box Cutter (removed during video)
Snap-Blade Box Cutter
3 Paint Markers - Yellow, Black and White
Scotch Tape
Locking clamp
Electrical Tape
Pocket knife w/ cork screw, screw driver, scissors, can opener, bottle opener, and file
Pocket knife with pliers (removed during video)
Set of hex wrenches
Beadle wraps (partially removed during video)
Zip ties
Command strip mounts and small hooks (for wires)
Fuses for a Prius
Tire pressure guage
Rubber gloves
Work gloves
Seal-all contact adhesive and sealant
WeldIt all purpose adhesive
Carabiners
Velco
Rubber bands
My jack and lugnut wrench are not in there, but you DEFINITELY don’t want to be without these two items.
