- We used eyelet screws and locking carabiner to hang the swing. Make sure to read the rated weights, we went with zinc but you could also use stainless steel.
To drill the screws into the bottom of the deck we used a s-hook and attached that to the drill to drill in the eyelet screw. You might also need chain depending on the height of your deck - we didn't end up needing it but had bought swing set chain. You could also pick up the plastic coated chain.

Thank you Jenelle, this is exactly what I needed. Saved me from asking the Home Depot employee 😊
Great video gave all the answers no questions left 👍
Glad I found this bc the book that came with was useless!
Yay! Glad this helped you :)
Same problem here.
All of the eye hooks I found at the hardware store say not to use them to support human weight when used vertically and explicitly mentions playground equipment. There are swing hangers you can buy that are designed for this.
If it is for 30-40 lb baby i think its enough.
She literally hung on it, I think thats just a liability lol
Nice. Thanks!
How old was baby here? Just curious. My son is 4 months and loves to swing at the park. I think he would love this.
She was around 7-8 months here.
Very helpfull thanx dear...plz provide me link to purchase all the things aa soon as possible
What can you put underneath it so it is safe in case a kid falls out of the swing?
Little Tykes should be held responsible for any accidents because they don’t specify hardware to hang the swing
Not sure what purpose the locking carabiner serves...maybe if you needed to add chain to lower the swing???
It would help for that definitely.
But also even in this set up, it is more secure than just the S-hooks directly to the Eye-hook.
That way the Carabiner does the pivoting and it has no openings, unlike the S-hooks which are more likely to slide off during rotations.
Good thing I found this because the one we bought came with nothing
What size of screws did you use?
Thank you so much!!
Thank you
What is that attachment for the drill called?
Just another hook inserted into the drill.
👍🏻
Omg. We have the same name 😳 I just spell my first name “Jenell”
Plan this will come off soon as the screw will move left to right
Hook it up to indoor pull up bar?
This is helpful because the swing comes with nothing
I'm so happy it helped! I would have been lost if my brother didn't help me!
That's all wrong. Steel on steel is a no go also the rope silver connection is wrong
