I love live events. I normally do three a year in Las Vegas, Affiliate Summit, Retail Global and Pubcon.

My channel is comic cons and related pop culture. For the last five years I had a comic con to attend every three months in Silicon Valley. This year is different with the first Silicon Valley comic con not happening until August. So creating content without my regular tentpole content has been a challenge. I'm planning a day trip to Los Angeles to attend a comic con in June. I haven't decided if I will take Greyhound ($50), Greyhound and plane ($100), or plane ($150-$200). This will be my first solo trip to some place that is far, far away.

@@ThinkMediaTV I used to go to theRUclips meetups back in the days, but honestly nothing ever came of it, when the event was over I'd find the business cards I gave out in the floor or the trash, I stopped trying to reach out to other creatives and now I just focus on doing my own thing. It's nothing personal just I think maybe my time is better spend out doing something than wasting my time trying to get to know people who want nothing to do with ya - sorry this post turned bleak fast! just my experience
