Thanks MWM I kept the t2 and I use it on my standing set up but on my desk I live the t3. As a guest and not host the t2 is still awesome

Would anyone that knows about these topics help me understand the concrete and deep answer to the following questions:
1. When do we need to use an iPad for the script reading in the teleprompter?
2. When is a phone enough for the script reading?
3. How far can a teleprompter be, using a phone to read the script, and still be plenty readable?
4. When is it better to use the Desview T3 and when is it better to use the Desview T2?
5. I bought the camera Sony ZV-1. I don't know if it was a mistake or not, but what is the best teleprompter for that?
6. I am also planning to record horizontal videos with the back camera of the iPhone 12 Pro Max. What is the best teleprompter for that?
7. I see that Glide Gear TMP 100 is double the price of Desview. When is the Glide Gear needed or better?

The information I have seen on RUclips seems confusing.
1. So many of the teleprompters are sold for tele prompting. however many streamers use them as confidence monitors. In that case a monitor with a flipped screen is actually the better choice. Again the teleprompter if used for reading scripts is to read the information or script while looking directly into the camera. This can be done by an iPad or an output from the computer or any other source projected onto the teleprompter.
2. iPhone or iPad will accomplish the same thing
3. A phone is simply much smaller and a larger screen would be preferred to see the words clearly
4. desview T2 or T3 is all about preference in my opinion. I use a 5inch monitor on the T2 and a 7 inch monitor on the T3
5. I would not advise putting the Desview t2 or T3 on a zv-1 with that lens, only a detachable lens. I believe a Tmp would work best
6. Glidegear and Desviews are suitable to use for this. However the Teleprompter app and many others allow you to use the phone only and you can see the script while the camera is facing you especially with the 12 pro max
7. The Glide gear is best but best is relative based on the camera you're using and the space you have to set it up.
@@thekonvos Thank you for the answers. I heard that people are using some type of "adapter" to use the Desview T2 teleprompter with the Sony ZV-1.
These topics are confusing for the ones who don't know about cameras and video production like me.
Will the Sony ZV-1 with that adapter for the Desview T2 teleprompter (that can only hold phones to read scripts) would be to small to read?
NOTE: I am planning to have the camera like 1-2 meters away from me (horizontal videos for RUclips)
I heard that the Teleprompter app shows the script directly on the phone (iphone 12 Pro Max) but that means I won't be able to record with the back camera and I wouldn't be able to put the phone far from me (1-2 meters away) and still be able to read the script.
Recommendations?

I wish I had bought the t3 instead of the t2 because I like the square glass better, but it's okay because it is still a nice buy.

Thanks a lot. The T2 isn’t available on Amazon currently, but i did see this D3. The Glide Gear ones under 800 bucks had awful reviews - especially about the remote problems. Have you had any problems out of your Glide Gear? And is the D3 any good (guess I’ll know that by the end of video).
+Under construction so the remote for all teleprompters are a joke. I have the logitech. Not sure why they advertise these with the software rather than just the hardware. The remotes are cheap so go aftermarket for the remote
Hello there, thanks for this very useful review. As a total beginner I'm struggling to understand if ANY of these 2 teleprompters would work with a Canon G7X Mark II. Would I need an adapter lense to be able to mount the camera to the teleprompter? Thanks in advance !

What kind of tripod are you attaching this to? I’m planning to use two phones or one phone and a tablet for this(in other words I won’t be using a camera) but I don’t know how to attach it to the tripod. Maybe I’m missing a step or maybe there is an adapter or amount or something that I need. Any help would be appreciated.
Why do you think the remote is garbage?
Does it not work properly or is ot because you never need to use it from that much of a distance?
The remote is basically a throw in, cheaply made and if you have need of a remote it’s best to upgrade

I got it! yay! However, my autofocus and the lens is going bananas and doesn't like it. Any tips? (my camera turns off after the lens tries to acclimate to the new weight) My Camera setup is Canon mirrorless E0S R6 with canon 35mm lens
soooo FYI if you have an auto zoom lens the mechanics of the lens will not like the weight of anything on the front of it. Sorry I didn't mention or know to mention that auto lenses will not work

Hey Melida, the Desview comes with multiple rings to fit a wide variety of lenses. On the Zve10 kit lens it would be a 40.5 mm ring I believe.
I was unable to match one of the ring to the camera 🤦🏽♀️😞
Nobody in these teleprompter presentations is showing, how the APP is working. And how to scroll the text. In my android the app is not opening at all.
hey if it helps I use an app called teleprompter (blue icon with play button and some oval lines) its for iPhone, not sure if there's and android version. However yes these teleprompters (physical) offer very simple basic apps and to me they actually SUCK! My advice is to get an app independent of the teleprompter. Also most of the reviewers you'll find are demonstrating the use as a confidence monitor not really the software
@@thekonvos Thanks for your advice! I finally managed to download the app called "Besview", but I must admit, that the name sounded like a spam at first (Desview-Besview :-D ). One guy in one other video told that that is ok app, and at least it seems to work.
