- The planet broke, but the Guard did not. Let the enemies of the Imperium know there are still Cadians breathing and eager for revenge. For Cadia and for the Emperor, let none escape !
The Imperial Guard, also known as the Astra Militarum, is the primary fighting force of the Imperium, so numerous in size that even the Departmento Munitorum cannot place a figure on the number of Guardsmen under arms at any one time; the lists of new recruits and toll of casualties can run into the millions in a single day. It would be unfeasible trying to put any exact number on the strength of the Guard; however, it is believed that there must be many billions of Imperial Guardsmen, divided into millions of regiments. This absolute numeracy provides the Guard with its main power; their ability to deploy in numbers that, eventually, result in victory. Attacking in seemingly endless influxes across battle-zones, charging forth under the cover of massive barrages and delivering massed lasgun volleys, in the Guard the individual Human soldier may appear a lost thing, almost forgotten. Yet the actions of these anonymous soldiers daily decide the fate of worlds.
The Guard forms the very backbone of the Imperium; without it, Mankind would surely perish. Whilst Guardsmen are hardly the equals of Space Marines, fighting neither with the advantages of genetic enhancement or the most powerful personal weaponry, the Guard possesses the courage and the manpower to face and annihilate the enemies of the Emperor across the galaxy.

There's one in dawn of war from the commissar: ''Who told you to die? Keep fighting!
Like, did I give you permission to die guardsman?
It's not in this video, but a great one is:
"Let's see them fight *all* of us." in a very smug tone. Spoken like a man with trillions behind him.
"They are not expected to survive the next assault"
They have not been expected to survive the next assault for the last 10000 years
And for 10,000 more
Not expected to survive period, yet here they are, still standing regardless.

The sound of them fixing bayonets and counter-harging is the best thing about this.
The moment I heard;
“Afix bayonets!”
Then;
“CHARGE!”
I legit ROARED and in my mind, I saw myself running into the fray with lasgun in hand as me and THOUSANDS of fellow Guardsmen slaughter what was left of the enemy after such a glorious arty strike!
FOR EMPEROR AND IMPERIUM!
Not to mention hearing the Baneblades rolling in.

Sadly you were hit on both legs and dragged yourself through the mud while your teammates stomped on you as they moved towards the target. You never knew if you managed to survive more than 15 hours. Sorry dude, just wanted to make it more legit.

I think I heard a few lines from the audio books as well.
An RTS game series made by Relic called "Dawn of War". Specifically, the lines are taken from the first game (DoW: Game of the Year edition) and it's first expansion (DoW: Winter Assault). The "Fix Bayonets!" line isn't from the games though. And I don't remember where it came from.
