This was by far my favorite buffet. Worth every penny. It had the best quality. Best Mac and Cheese. The apple cider sauce is probably one of my favorite things ever. Loved the view of horses while eating.

Definitely to each his own! I went here recently and LOVED it. The service and staff were great. I'm still thinking about the roast beef! I also went to Shady Maple, but prefer Miller's.
Yes Miller’s has high quality food ♥️👍 I like to hear from different people and yep, everyone has their favorites 😍. I took a group of ladies from out of state to both places and my one friend said she preferred Miller’s too. Shady Maple and Miller’s are really 2 different experiences so it all depends on what is more important to each person or really even each visit 🤩😊👍 thanks for commenting. I still say Miller’s has the BEST Mac n cheese I ever had :)!! Loved a lot of their food:). Just wish they had a cheaper lunch option 😉
Glad to see this buffet is running back normally. It does happen to be my family's favorite when we go to Lancaster and we have tried others including the ginormous one. We just feel the quality of the food compensates for the price. Can't wait to go there next week. Thanks for the video so we could see for ourselves how things are operating!

I have been visiting Lancaster since 1974 and love every vacation we spend there. Miller's was always the most expensive buffet/restaurant in the area. After eating at almost every restaurant in the area, I find that Shady Maple offers the most food for the "best" prices. It's just a shame that there are not as many authentic Dutch Food restaurants like we experienced in the past 47 years. Some fans might remember the "Carousel", The Willows Glass Kitchen, and thank God that the Bird-in-Hand Restaurant is still there!
Good points, Marcy! I agree with you about getting the most food for the best value at Shady Maple. I think Miller’s was delicious in many dishes but just not a fan of their price point. And how cool is it that you have so many memories of your trips to Lancaster! Awesome! I have not heard of those places you mentioned but would love to know more about them and where they were. And yes, BIH restaurant has a really neat history. They the best ham balls!
Wow Marcy, I remember the Willows too, first place I ever tries scrapple! If you go into the Choo Choo Barn they have a model of the Willows restaurant in their train layout. Where was Carousel? Not sure if I remember that one.
Great honest review. We enjoyed Miller's and for us we will go once each visit. BUT you are so right about the prices. Thanks for all the work you do and for the memories the videos bring back.

If you are looking for Pennsylvania Dutch Food, pretty much all the popular restaurants serve that. If you are looking for family style dining, I believe Huckleberry’s Restaurant at the Fulton steamboat Inn offers family style but you need to call ahead. Also Smokehouse BBQ and Brews I think offers family style but call bc I think there are stipulations. HOWEVER, I’k thrilled to tell you that after Hershey Farm Restaurant is rebuilt they will be offering family style along with a buffet!!
I have not eaten here due to what seems to be a heavy reliance on chicken (which I am allergic to) dishes in the entree section. If I am to pay the price they are asking, I would require more options that I could eat. The mac & cheese does look really good though.
This restaurant is the best it has the best souvenirs and food! I went there with church for a couple of times to go see the Sight & Sound Theatre so nostalgic😢😁🤧😋
We did enjoy Miller’s when we were there before covid times. The food was very good, I opted for menu dining due to Buffett price. However we felt much more welcomed at Shady Maple. We went for dinner one night and enjoyed it so much went back for breakfast the next day. The prices were better, staff was friendlier and the food was wonderful. For us Shady Maple is our must do Buffett. Good thing Lancaster has so many Buffets to choose from. Can you imagine if everyone chose to go to the same one 😳😄?
Lol! Rose, that’s a good and amusing point!! Yes, it is a wonderful thing that there are so many places to choose from! I actually prefer the smaller restaurants now - can’t eat large amounts of food like I used to, but my boys love the buffets so we go 😄😆🤪. I do think Shady Maple is more customer friendly too ☺️. But I’m happy pretty much anywhere in Lancaster 😍😍

I too think Shady Maple is pretty awesome - have done a whole video on them too 👍☺️😎 and I like the variety of prices and food options they offer which is the main thing I don’t like about Millers. Just from my personal experience, I think the quality is a little better at Miller’s- I like Shady Maple’s food but I have yet to have my socks knocked off 😊😂🤩
@@ElleLiving How are the gluten free options at Millers? Non breaded, wheat/flour in ingredients. Shady maple is great for that reason especially seafood night. Even dessert options that fit that category.

I am pretty sure there were some desserts and of course there was a lot of meat and veggies at Millers. But I believe you are right about Shady Maple having more GF options 👍. I’ll be paying better attention to GF in Lancaster this summer since it’s something I’ve been doing more of due to health issues 🤪 so fun! 👍🙃🤓
Went there yrs ago during the week day we paid full price for the buffet when the person seated us we went up to the buffet and half of the buffet was closed They never said 1 word that half of the buffet was closed and we paid full price thats what I call a total scam charge full price for the buffet and half of it was closed and not even tells us ! We told family and friends and they all said they will never go there again !

I am local, and tried this awful overpriced tourist trap. I honestly can not understand how this place gets any good reviews, the food is subpar and I highly recommend Bird in Hand Restaurant if you want better food for less money. I will never return to Miller’s.
I’ve only been to Miller’s once and it was very good. A LOT of viewers of this channel see Miller’s as they’re favorite place. I actually have been to Bird-in-Hand restaurant many times and mention them often in my videos. I LOVE it there and it is one of my favorites for sure 🥰🥰👍👍👏👏. And it’s so nice that there is the option of ordering off the menu. They have the BEST ham balls in Lancaster 👍👍

I undertstand that Good n Plenty is closed are there any other restaurants near by that are family style and serve food similar to Goodn n Plenty's??
