I was a cook here back in 1989.And let me tell you they used the freshest ingredients.I was the chicken fryer and grill cook.On the grill I made sherried mushrooms(mushrooms with sherry wine)fish,ham with cider sauce,and mashed potatoes.Definitely a good restaurant.

David's comments are hilarious. We see you are in Amish country. We are from NE PA and have never been there. It's about 2 hours from us. We go to Gettysburg all the time. Hi David , Cindy and Carly . I saw you went here and made a reservation . I didn’t watch the video though I wanted to be surprised , You all did a great review . The food was fantastic, I had a lot of the things you guys did , i tried the seafood bisque and that was very good also . I had a 6:15 pm reservation , place was mobbed , no empty seats and they were turning away walk ups . Again great review , I really enjoy watching your videos . Hope you are all doing well
We did not have a reservation when we went. We were there on a Sunday and were there shortly after 11 when they opened. Of course they filled up fast. We were so impressed by the quality of the food for a buffet. Were you there on Thanksgiving? Or another time? Appreciate you kind words and support. Have you tried Diener's Restaurant in Ronks, PA?
@@vafunseekers I was there 11/15 on my way back from TN . Hotel suggested I make the reservation for dinner , but they basically had the same food , I don’t think there was sausage and Peppers . It’s a “close” trip for me 6 hours , I’ll be making a few quick trips out there to keep exploring the area .
Another great video! While you were in Ronks, did you take a ride on the Strasburg Railroad? Or, visit the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania (One of the best in the nation...) or Choo-Choo Barn? There are also several interesting antique car museums in the area. I keep meaning to take a quick trip up there. But, other priorities happen... God Bless!
We have not had a chance to ride the Strasburg Railroad. We keep saying we are going to do it when we go. We always like to go and see it pass by. One trip they actually had Thomas the Train there and it was neat to see Thomas. We have not been to the Railroad Museum or Choo-Choo Barn that I can remember. It's so much to see in Lancaster County. Hope you get there soon.

I always try to let people know our review is our experience on a specific day. I will say that this day this buffet was awesome! In my opinion better than Shady Maple. Do you like Dieners? That's another favorite.
This is definitely not a cheap eat. We did enjoy our meal here and would definitely go back. There are more budget friendly buffet options in Lancaster. Thanks for watching!

I thought it was interesting that Cindy likes this place better than the Maple place that’s so popular but , it’s about quality not quantity . We use to have a Morrison's cafeteria in our local mall. I do remember going to a Duff's when I was little too.

I'm not a huge fan of Millers. Unfortunately on Sunday it's one of the few places open. Make sure you make a reservation.
