Awesome! There is nothing in this world that feels better than solving a really odd problem. Some days I don't want to go out in my shop when I didn't fix a problem from the day before. It's maddening! Do you bore your own cylinders or grind your valves? Congrats on that heating problem - what a mind bender and scary that you would have had no idea.
I don't do my own machining unfortunately. I would love to though. Yes, if it not for the efi coolant sensor I would have no clue that was happening until it over heated and possibly caused damage.
@@DeathTollRacing Since I'm 69, I may be selling my old Van Norman boring bar 944-S. It can be put on the motor in frame. Also my old Sioux valve grinder. The work perfectly and I have taken care of them. I have a SuperFlow machine 110. It has been upgraded to work with Performance Trends computer software. It's for my porting, but to small for car heads. Thank you so much for your videos, never to old to learn.
I am currently doing a Ls3/6L90E swap in a 03'Crown Vic Police Interceptor. It's my first swap. Not my first engine tho. My next swap will be a Vic with a 5.0. N/A builds. I may boost it down the road. But I want to do the suspension and brakes upgrades first. Can't forget the supporting mods lol.
@DeathTollRacing I started doing videos to show my grandkids how to, in case down the road, they might want to work on a car. Now I have a few working on it eith me. It's become a family project with my wife and a few of my grandkids. My 11 year old grand daughter wants in on the action as well lol. Cool with me.
I currently own both these cars man I dropped a c6 corvette engine in my 1988 caprice and floor shifter. Had a question looking for cheap braking and rear differential options I’ve ran outta a lot of money any recommendations???
Never give up. We will be here waiting to find out how in the world you fixed it.
I never thought I’d be scratching my head over this one.

Right on! I’m not sure how deep I’ll go with the 4.6 or if I’ll eventually swap it for an ls or coyote.

I wonder how common this is and don't know. It's funny how many right head gaskets blow. Hmmm
It definitely gets me thinking. It’s crazy to me the discrepancy from side to side.
@DeathTollRacing Definitely, that's crazy. And the temp sensor is usually on the driver side or on the thermostat housing. Wow!!!!
Why does everything hate you this week?
Hopefully not everything!

If you go to the build video on the caprice I put rear disc on it. Otherwise 94-96 caprice axle would be next
