Do he brushes have pressure sensitivity? I was trying to vary how far I was pulling the trigger during a stroke but I didn't see a difference. I'm also working with quest 2's AirLink with my PC so I don't know if that makes a difference. EDIT: 8:35 Oh ok I tottaly missed that. Can't believe I struggled so long without it!
Can you add custom models with which you can use as stamps etc? I currently use Adobe Medium which lets you do this and even imports the texture map. Very powerful.
The Left-hand menu is constantly present and it is not a good thing. It is strangely positioned to my personal liking and I can not do a thing to close it or move it. I just started to use Shapelab is there any possibility of UI customization? I do love it, my primary interest is 3d scanning cleanup/processing activities, and so far I had no issues with a scan consisting of millions of polys! and vertex paint imported like a charm! Hate the UI though.... :)
Why have you put the masking operations inside o many folders of UI ? Like to delete the masked mesh please go to the menu, then to the other menu ... and there is a button to do that. Why is that?
Hey there, thank you for your input! We have put a lot of effort into the UI, and so far, we have mostly received positive feedback on how intuitive the interface is. That being said, we are open to constructive criticism. Let us answer all your questions in this comment: The double-click shortcut for the invert tool is currently a necessity, but we have heard your (and other users’) request to make it easier, and we will make this happen soon. The masking options and the left panel were deliberately put where they are, as they are used less often. We have received no other complaints about these so far. We took note of your feedback, though. You can create a custom controller binding on Steam by clicking on options>Devices>Controller Settings in the Steam VR dialog.
Is it possible to remap the UI? For instance, the double click function to make negative action? it has no sense to me at all that you have to call a menu with one click instead a negative action. especially regarding the other software where one click change is already a standard operation. I hope you will add the remap function in later updates, are you? :) I love the software and the dynamic topology but hate the UI / UX side. It is really bad indeed.
As you know, almost VR headset is too heavy for work. So i interasted in AR glass that support Steam VR. I heard Nreal glass will support Steam. And ANTVR glass is already support Steam VR apps. I hope Shapelab support these glasses.
You can export your models from Shapelab in various file formats, including fbx and obj, which are supported by most 3D creative programs, such as Quill. Our next video is coming very soon and it will include an explanation of the functions of the file menu. It will also explain exporting - we hope it will be helpful!
Why is the menu of the left hand, is to the left of your controller? It feels weird to shoot a beam with your right hand to the other side of your left hand. I cannot explain better just did you try it yourself in VR? It feels like not. It is like pouring a glass of "liquid " through your left hand, same weird feeling. Very strange solution.
Find out all about brushes and brush modifiers in the video, and let us know your thoughts and questions in the comments!😊

EVERYBOBY wants this. They would be my goto app if I could make folders of stamps on my laptop.
How do you reposition your drawing hand relative to a cube shaped brush or a stamp to grab it from a different angle?

Howw can I draw in space? Not just leaving one stamp?

Can these models be imported into Tiltbrush or Quill? I'd love to create something and import into quill so I can animate it.
