i like how this video tries to break the stereotypes and internet rumors which is really great. aside from that, stress will always be normal wherever college you will go. what matters most is how you balance your school and life. great job richard!
Hey!! I’m international student from Korea and I have got accepted to UofT few days ago. I just wanted to thank you for posting great videos. Your youtube videos really helped me a lot. Again, thank you for making great youtube channel!
Literally the only video I’ve heard the university is awesome, everyone is talking about how hard it is that it almost made me regret accepting the offer. Thanks for making this video.
Watching your videos make me feel so motivated to study hard in order to achieve my dreams to study English Literature in UofT/UBC in Canada. Thanks, Richard! Love ur videos, keep up the good work! ^o^👍🏻
I have been accepted to U of T for international development co-op, and will be a 1st year this fall! I was actually really nervous, and had many questions, so thank you for this video!
Hey Richard! Hope you are doing well. I have applied to Rotman, and I have two questions,. 1) How challenging is it to take a specialist and a major as a Rotman student? For me, I want to do a Specialist in Management and a Major in Psychology as a Rotman student - is that too much of a workload and unrealistic in 4 years? 2) Is it challenging to take more than 5.0 credits in the first year, without haven taken any Econs/Business/more advanced levels of Maths in High School? Stay safe and thank you so much!
I would say it's possible but it's going to be very challenging (I also didn't take Econ or any Business courses in HS and because of that my first year was pretty challenging!
@@RichardHan Got it Richard - I will not put too much pressure on myself in first year then. What about taking a specialist + a major in 4 years? Sorry for asking again, I am just another anxious high school student who wants to plan his future out... Thx!
@S K Hi, thanks a lot for the response! It is like a "hard rule" or more of a really impossible thing to do? Edit: How common is it for Management specialists to take another one or two minors OR majors? Appreciate the time!
hello! thank you so much for your videos💜 i’m wondering if there any “effective writing” courses available for the new students at u of t in summer or even in winter, bcs my writing sucks, I need it to be improved before I go into this uni
UofT is the name of the school. Each campus has their own name as well Scarborough campus is UTSC, downtown campus (st. George) is UTSG, and the Mississauga campus is UTM.
yo i swicthed to mcmaster for 3rd and 4th year.. and i got the max gpa i could...while at 1st and 2nd year uoft i was getting a 3.6/4 if i stayed in uoft i wouldnt have made it to med school today...i know your international, but uofts a trap...i promise you im telling the truth...dont go to uft especially if you wanna go to med school
@S K from the experience i had of switching unis, and finding better teachers, along with seeing my freinds not do so well. I dont think im blaming anything..you just havent went to a better uni, idk if you have freinds in other unis or even know what other unis are like..plus a 4.0 is a 85% so you dont even need a 90...if theres anyone that can complain about uoft and talk about how it compares with other schools, its probally me, because ive went to different unis...seriously theres a big difference..theres also a reason mcmaster has a higher life sci merit...uft just has a big name, its a shit institute otherwise, maybe your not in life sci but i blv the person i replied to is going to life sci, and for life sci grades matter(for med school)..so why would you go to a uni that gives lower grades? has worser teachers?( i could name some shitty profs on the spot, honestly 70% of people stopped going to lectures because of how shit they were, your telling me you havent expereinced the drop in people attending lectures when corona wasnt that bad in 2019?) and theres a depressing environment? if your going to just do undergrad then nothings better then uft but if you wanna pursue medicine uft might be one of the worst instuitutes..maybe your getting good grades, but many people arent you should talk to others to find out
Is UofT the best university in Canada?
Quality content as always Richard, waiting on my reply from Rotman 🤞

Could you make a video about tips for the UofT scholarship profile.
I have no idea about what extracurriculars I should do, what do you recommend?

Is life sci at uft-sg a good idea for med school?
hey Richard! do u know anyone that got the Lester B Pearson Scholarship at UofT?
is UTSC same shit, different package?
Is uoft good for becoming a lawyer?
I think it really depends on what you study
Whats the difference between UofT and UTSC?
