Hey Dorothy, I definitely agree with all the points you made, if you ever want to collaborate on a video let me know. I am currently entering my third year at U of T.
Hey Dorothy love the video Just wanted to ask as someone who aspires to study at U of T when you said at the beginning of the video that you major in nutritional sciences does that include food sciences in any way just asking because I want to study food science but im not sure if U of T offers it.
I think they for sure give you a head start in the field you’re pursuing but you’ll also get that kind of experience in your master studies. moreover, school work is already demanding, that might be why the majority of people who enrolled in UofT are good with no co-ops?
Can tell about pharmacy field for bachelor degree and if possible plz make a short video on it plz plz reply you are like my sis and I'm a student of class 12th PCB and I'm a girl using my father's email ppz reply
I've never been through the same thing so it's really hard to say!! but imo classes will be sorta easier because you get to work at your own pace. and social wise, as I said, join more clubs as most are still happening virtually!! and engage in school life by familiarising yourself with our online system and support (UofT will send you guys a lot of emails I believe). however, it's a lot harder for an international student to really have a glimpse of what studying at UofT is like abroad, so final advice would be to enjoy your time back at home and prep yourself for the upcoming semesters!! hope this helps xx
yes yes! it’s Dorothy Chan on LinkedIn. and speaking of Rotman, from what I know it’s tough but manageable!! I have a lot of friends in Rotman and if they get through it, you will too. and what comes with the tough work is a lot of opportunities!!! so it’s worth the grind.
yes and no. really depends on the prof and course!!! if you study hard and receive fair tests it's likely you will do well. BUT OVERALL IT'S HARD GOTTA WORK HARD!
The only employable majors in uoft r the good engineering or C's. Everything else has poor future projects. The workload coupled with poor networks fail to prep students into the real world. Def don't go to uoft cause ur Asian parents hyped it up cause of Magazines Rankin's based on research.
Thanks Dorothy for sharing your uft experience through the video. It was really helpful to me honestly :)

Kindly inform us how your arrange food for yourself in campus.
are co-ops important? Because a lot of people didn’t choose UofT downtown campus because they don’t provide co-ops
I think they for sure give you a head start in the field you’re pursuing but you’ll also get that kind of experience in your master studies. moreover, school work is already demanding, that might be why the majority of people who enrolled in UofT are good with no co-ops?
Where do you recommend going for Boba near campus (since you mentioned it)?

Can you make a video on tips on how to get into UofT?
I don't have enough tips for you guys ;; but how I got in was with a decent IB score.
What would you recommend for international students taking the semester virtually?
I've never been through the same thing so it's really hard to say!! but imo classes will be sorta easier because you get to work at your own pace. and social wise, as I said, join more clubs as most are still happening virtually!! and engage in school life by familiarising yourself with our online system and support (UofT will send you guys a lot of emails I believe). however, it's a lot harder for an international student to really have a glimpse of what studying at UofT is like abroad, so final advice would be to enjoy your time back at home and prep yourself for the upcoming semesters!! hope this helps xx

Is getting a high GPA hard in your opinion?
yes and no. really depends on the prof and course!!! if you study hard and receive fair tests it's likely you will do well. BUT OVERALL IT'S HARD GOTTA WORK HARD!
