  • "Here's Hoping" played by Bob Causer and His Orchestra, with vocal chorus by Frank Luther; Oriole 2541-A (10"). Electrically recorded in New York on 8 August 1932.
    Played with a Burmese Colour Needle on a gramophone with a homemade 80 Hz exponential horn, Victor Orthophonic soundbox, and HMV swan-neck tone-arm, currently in a prototype cabinet.

    Bob Causer had one of the best orchestras during the Depression era. The vocalist is excellent, the tune and lyrics are good and the surface noise is minimal.
