After learning that I followed some good RUclipsrs and understood how trend trading works, learnt support and resistances , risk to reward ratio and finally position sizing (which I think I should have learnt way earlier to save my capital)....

Hey, Tanmay and Prateek first of all thanks for all the efforts , Finally, a stock market class feels like "content" rather than a class that has come up. But I have a question and searched. But no clear explanation is there (according to me) So I want to know, how the price of stock gets affected by the company's growth? The bargaining (demand and supply bidding) may be a strong answer, but is the price of stock directly related to the company's profit and loss? (or is it the emotion that connects the relation with price change with the profit and loss of that company)
There would be more demand for a company that is growing fast and is profitable which would lead to growth in stock price. Nobody wants to buy a business that does not grow or make profit

I have a question. How can the closing price of the previous day be different from the opening price of the next day? Because no trading is allowed after the market closes. Please answer 🙏
There are multiple factors,1)when the market closes for retail traders, it opens for the brokers for a short duration of time where they can too trade securities. 2) You can put buy orders after the market hours too, this is then matched to the sell orders before next trading day, That's why the prices are different.

Yes it can but i don't know how
There are multiple factors,1)when the market closes for retail traders, it opens for the brokers for a short duration of time where they can too trade securities.
2) You can put buy orders after the market hours too, this is then matched to the sell orders before next trading day,
That's why the prices are different.

So i discussed about this with my dad (im 17 btw)
So he countered my arguments by saying that trading is just another form of legal gambling to earn money
And i couldnt find a flaw in his argument

Say if you understand how the market works, and you do your fundamental and technical analysis, then its not gambling, it's making informed purchases

@Shailesh Trading is not gambling if you persuid with right strategic system with decipline, there are people who does trades without above points they loose money then it will be called as gambling as its probability matter, mainly risk management is the key to success.
