With this piano tutorial & sheet music, you can play the famous theme from Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake" on the piano (Theme from Swan Lake, Op. 20, No 10)!
(In other languages, it's known as Schwanensee, Le Lac des cygnes, Le Lac des cygnes, Лебеди́ное о́зеро, Il lago dei cigni...)
It's an accurate, carefully created piano arrangement for experienced players.
Tchaikovsky completed the ballet in 1876 (original title: Лебеди́ное о́зеро), it premiered the following year at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow.
Although it wasn't successful at first, over time it became one of the most famous ballets ever written!
The most popular theme from the piece appears at the beginning of Act 2 (No. 10, titled "Scène").
Today, this hauntingly beautiful piece is considered one of Tchaikovsky's greatest compositions, and one of the most well-known classical works of all time.
A fantastic piece full of complex harmonic and rhythmic changes, the Theme from Swan Lake makes for a marvellous piano piece!

How long did it take to nail the polyrhythm?
I have a lot of experience playing polyrhythms, so I didn't really have to practice it. It's something you probably won't do in your first year of learning piano, but once you've figured it out, you won't have to learn it again for every new piece where it appears.
