I saw it live. Packed theatre. She was amazing. Strong acting, great comedy chops, and incredible singing. The rest of the production is also excellent. I counted at least three standing ovations.

Well, the actress that originated the role back in 1964 wasn't known for being the easiest person to work with, but she was able to take the role and make it hers for 50+ years. Glad to see Lea Michelle has a voice and talent worthy of leading the first Broadway revival of the show since the original closed in the mid-60s.
The "difficult" label is an incorrect very unfair archetype that some will attach to women who are perfectionist regarding their work. Reminds me of a Barbra Streisand documentary from many years ago. She was fighting with a music producer because he'd removed a small segment of music from a song that she'd written. The conflict was about her standards and the integrity of her work. Ofcourse, the correction was made.

She always sounded great singing this song since 2010, and having the control back at 25. But hearing her sing it in the context of the show is so nuanced, and so mature and very well done. She’s fully grown.
I had the pleasure of seeing her perform the show from the front row. To watch her sing these iconic songs in that pitch perfect voice was one of the best experiences that I've ever had in a Broadway theatre. Queen Lea is truly amazing. Plus, she even was signing programs at the stage door. If you love her, please try to get to NYC to see this show. I can't wait to get back to see it again.

They didn't make Beanie sing on tv for a reason. Singing on tv is the most difficult thing : if you have any flaw, they will be exposed. Because in a show, there is the reverb of the room who will cover up flaws. On a recording, they will do it as many times as they can to have it perfect. They, they had reverb, eq, compressor. etc. But on tv, the sound is live and dry in your home. Imagine the catastrophe it would have been to hear Beanie's voice on show like this! It hurts just to think about it.

This was my lover's favorite song of all time. Especially the flowers. By the time Fanny gets to Nick all that is left is a few petals and a bunch of sticks. He passed from a stroke 4 years ago. Everytime I see or hear this song I break down and bawl. But each time it is less intense. The pain of him passing is less intense but the sorrow is still there. Thank You Lea for dowing such a great job. Break a leg.
I am a 70 year old Greek. Lea today is a better technician. She was absolutely brilliant. I have been cautious about attending shows with COVID still quite active. Lea, I have to see your total performance. Streisand will always be my favorite, but Lea is my new favorite for this role.
Hats off to the costume designer for this revival. The costumes are SO CRISP. Especially Lea's. It shouldn't be a surprise, though, since Susan Hilferty worked on Wicked. If I'm not mistaken she designed the Act 2 Elphaba dress (et al). Which I don't even have to mention the cool parallel of her being dressed by the woman who dressed Idina Menzel, her tv mom.
