Thank you so much. The wire trick was amazing! One other tip, if you have access to two iPhones, face time them and set one inside the kayak with a flashlight pointed stern. I felt like I was performing surgery but it helped me see exactly what was going on inside. Aluminum wire and painters tape did the job with your tip. Thanks again!
The wire trick was on point! I was doing an Ascend 12T install. Lots of foam to navigate and the hatch is 6' from the stern. Using 22ga Floral Wire I fished thru as you did. Eased it back and since it was folded and taped I could rotate it. Everything went as described 1st time. Thank you for the greatly detailed and effective video. Very underrated. May you have many more views and likes.
I'll give you credit good job! most people never put the backing plate on... I know that I don't.. I just buy the yak attack black 2 inch marine grade pop rivets..✌️
Man this was a good video you did anchor trolley to the kayak man. They are an awesome anchor trolley I have one on my kayak and it works awesome. I really enjoyed watching you putting that on the kayak man & listening to those freight trains horn. I love freight trains they are part of my Hobby. Man I would love to live in your neighborhood sitting on the porch or backyard or just anyway listening & seeing those freight trains go by. I hope you're doing fine man. Have you been going kayaking lately? Good video man thank you for sharing.
😅ain't gonna lie u made this look soooo damn easy I have the HD set up I tried to install in on my ascend 12T this morning n lemme tell ya it pissed me off to no end ......ended up just siliconeing the holes up and mfing the whole company that made this trolly set up I mean why in gods name wouldn't you include the essential part to actually install this SMH good job though now I wanna try it again but with bailing wire I tried with string but didn't work at all 😅
Thanks for the helpful install video. Did you go back to the holes and add silicon? Also, have you had any issues with the trolley since the installation?
No issues since installation. Just tightening the cord. I hit the larger spots with silicone, but it's been water tight since install. Great kit and install
I just put this on, not the HD model though, any thought of putting silicon around the screws to keep them water tight? Im a little nervous about that, might take each screw out and put some around the screw hole and locktite.
Always tweaking things a bit. I'd like to strengthen the mounting rails on both sides. Just need to purchase the aluminum ones. And I added a chair mounted umbrella, for sunny days that is amazing.
Great job!...As a novice, it's great to see an indepth install by a novice, very helpful!

Nice video! The wire trick helped me a lot. I'm honestly surprised it worked as well as it did 😅
Yeah, it looks crazy, but works just fine. Happy it worked out for ya.

I put a bit of silicone on mine later, just for peace of mind. Figure it can't hurt.
I did this as well as a better seal and hopefully tighter hold for the screws
Should have added a hatch in the back for access. Really helps for installing anything so you can use all nuts and bolts.
How does that effect the hull warranty?
have you used it yet? Anything you would change?
