FF7R Barret Vs. Sephiroth Solo Hard Mode (No Summon)

People thought it couldn't be done. But here it is. I haven't seen ANYONE else do this challenge before.
Build:
Steel Pincers (Healing, Refocus, Skill Master, Magic Up, HP Up, MP Up)
Chain Bangle (Lightning-Elemental, Steadfast Block, Parry)
Götterdämmerung

Why people never seem to use wrecking ball on Barret? Like, I know its magic stat is a joke, but Barret's magic is nothing to write home about in general. Idk, I always pick the wrecking ball when I use melee Barret.

In my opinion the benefits of the wrecking ball don't make up for the downsides. The wrecking ball has higher attack damage and reprieve, but the steel pincers have higher magic, higher max MP, and reduced healing and attack MP costs.
Barret's magic is for sure nothing too crazy, but it's still always worth having a higher magic. You heal a lot more and do a lot more damage. And you even have a higher elemental materia damage output, slightly making up for the lower attack damage

It might be because I've also never attempted solo challenges. I mean, I actually got my ass kicked by Pride and Joy. (I thought it was going to be an easy fight after seeing YTbers dispatching it with ease, and I got punished for it.) So maybe that also may explain my preference for the Wrecking Ball.
... the Wrecking Ball also looks freaking badass. Like its size really puts Barret's monstrous strength into perspective. That's beside the point, though.

@@BarretTheImmaculate Lol, yeah, they're great! The way he yells "ASSHOLE" during overcharge is also awesome. His texts when he uses Stop on enemies is also pretty funny.
In general, Barret is a treasure in this game. He was already one of my favorite characters in the original and the remake made him even better.

@@Kingnocitsyakuza not sure what you mean. I've seen other people post videos of beating bosses with no damage taken, if that's what you mean then I'm not one. Barret's too slow for no damage runs
