ME ENCANTA ESTA MUSICA Y MAS CUANDO LA ESCUCHO ACOMPAÑADA CON UN BUEN WHISKY Y SENTADO EN MI SILLON A OSCURAS MIENTRAS REFLEXIONO SOBRE MIS PENSAMIENTOS, MUCHAS GRACIAS.
Surprised every time i find one of your ambiances. The music is beautiful, the scenery a lovely tribute to a remarkable game. i am very glad you make these. May i ask if the music is all your own? If so i am even more amazed. Thank you!
I accidentally came across this channel and I love it! I love noodling around on acoustic guitar and this is such a fun vibe. Can I ask if you know the types of keys/scales/whatevers you like to use for stuff like this? I never learned music theory teaching myself guitar so I usually have to figure stuff out by ear when learning things.
@@ryanansen thank you for the comment. I downtune my guitar to D or C#, and mainly play pentatonic minor scales on top of open minor chords (also called cowboy chords). The chords are also arpeggiated and not strung most of the time, trying to imitiate the way a pianist would play. So for example Quiet River is Am - Em with a pentatonic melody on top of it.
@@Stringscapes Thank you so much for that breakdown! Definitely gonna have to play around with all that when I get the chance, it seems like such a fun thing to play and vibe out to.
Thank you! I use an electroacoustic Takamine P1DC connected DI, with standard 0.12 strings tuned to C# or D and downtuned a little bit more in post. For these last 2 videos I started to use an acoustic impulse response.

Anytime my friends and I host a bonfire I throw your music on the in background. Makes for great reflection and deep meaningful conversations 👌
This will help me not loose my mind today. Thanks again.

here isyour like man...
I really enjoy your music! Could you elaborate on what guitars/strings/etcetera you use on these tracks?

This is really good! I wanted to ask something, how long do these usually take to make?
Thank you! The music takes me a couple of hours usually to compose and record. For the video a little less.
Wow nice, is it looped?😊
Thanks. And yes, the song last around 7 minutes and then it starts again
I want to make this kind of music but I’m having trouble. Any tips?
What kind of problems are you having?
Near Roanoke? Or Valentine?
I think it was actually Beaver Hollow, close to the last camp location. There is a river next to Arthur that is not seen on the video
