This is real guys. I have never been aware of caste politics that maybe evident in villages, small town and cities in India as I grew up in Mumbai but this evil is coming to America. Because of such mass migration of Indians to the IT field lots of indians who are not doing well or not able to grow in the corporate world or dissatisfied with thier pay and have to work for other Indians are now beginning to spread new narratives of caste in the US. They are unnecessarily kindling and playing victim telling stories to westerners and spreading hate hoping that they will gain from it. This is terrible. Weird Westerners twice have asked me my caste. Never before did anyone care what caste I am in the west and neither have ever ever bothered to ask or even wanted to know what caste my fellow indians working in the west are but this poison is being spread and must be nipped in the bud. I suspect this is predominantly coming from lots of new IT workers primarily from Tamil Nadu, Andhra pradesh and Telangana. They are from small towns and rural areas and want the caste regime to come to the west and benefit from it. Its a horrible toxic mix of prejudices and bad caste thinking that maybe prevalent in india that they want to spread here. Disgusting. This is real guys. I have never been aware of caste politics that maybe evident in villages, small town and cities in India as I grew up in Mumbai but this evil is coming to America. Because of such mass migration of Indians to the IT field lots of indians who are not doing well or not able to grow in the corporate world or dissatisfied with thier pay and have to work for other Indians are now beginning to spread new narratives of caste in the US. They are unnecessarily kindling and playing victim telling stories to westerners and spreading hate hoping that they will gain from it. This is terrible. Weird Westerners twice have asked me my caste. Never before did anyone care what caste I am in the west and neither have ever ever bothered to ask or even wanted to know what caste my fellow indians working in the west are but this poison is being spread and must be nipped in the bud.
I suspect this is predominantly coming from lots of new IT workers primarily from Tamil Nadu, Andhra pradesh and Telangana. They are from small towns and rural areas and want the caste regime to come to the west and benefit from it. Its a horrible toxic mix of prejudices and bad caste thinking that maybe prevalent in india that they want to spread here. Disgusting.
I also think another mistake is indians organizing themselves as "hindu america" etc etc which turns political due to BJP and the wokes, islamists and socialists are now creating poison to harrass and attack the new centers of prosperity by linking it to caste.
I can tell you no one in IT field has benefitted because of caste. where is caste in tech ? You are either a good or bad but to bring caste this and play victimehood is a disservice and is creating another way to attack successful indians and undermine them.
High time, for the govt to take cognizance of facts being illuminated by Rajivji and Vijayaji.
