The 3rd one was one of the scariest stories I’ve heard in a minute, waiting in a cave for almost 5 hours just to find that the predator was most likely still waiting on you outside. Chills
Dude fr that was the only time I’ve ever felt that scared from a story. My life was flashing before my eyes just thinking about myself in that situation

And the head just looking into the cave would be so unnerving.
Ugh and the details made it worse. You felt like you were one of those kids.
The 3rd one is on another level. I am genuinely terrified to a level beyond a horror movie. The way everything is described is so simple yet vivid; I felt myself there like I was actually him. I’m still trying to catch my breath from that suspense.
3rd story:
The guy peeked inside the cave, laughed, entered for a bit, then walked back out.
If Jackson thought he saw him crouched down and OP thought he heard footsteps behind while they were running away, I would unfortunately believe the man did see them and actually waited for them knowing that the entrance was the only exit.
Dude seemed like he was literally the real life Joker. With the whole laughing bit and patiently waiting. Creepy as all hell.

that man could've been a mental patient or schizophrenic guy.

That last story was the creepiest to me. I don't know what would be worse, waiting for those 5 hours or just making a run for it. If they both claim that the guy was still there (one said he thought he saw him crouched down and started running and the other one said that he may have heard a third set of footsteps), that guy most likely knew you were in there that whole time. Creepy indeed.
Imagine waiting 5 hours for two kids to come out of a cave 🤦🏻♂️

ive been in caves camping and its a pretty dangerous place, nobody actually checks on you that much , so you can slip, get lost or whatever, can also get quite tight to squeeze in , slippery , specially in iced caves (even in summer!)
VERY TRUE!!! Me and a friend who go caving in the uk always have a written rule of telling 3 or more people that we are going exploring, just incase one of them forgets. we say to alert relevant parties if we dont make contact with them after a set time period. like you say, mistakes can be made and hidden shafts and hazards are plenty. its possibly one of the most dangerous activities someone can engage in.
@@mrlortoh5679 agreed. I’ve been cave exploring in the Brecon Beacons and also around Cheddar Gorge and Somerset. A couple of them got a bit treacherous. I was stuck on a couple of occasions and found it hard to get through. Thankfully I was with other people including very experienced guides. I didn’t go again though, it put me off .
@@mrkipling2201 from the south west myself, littered with endless mines round here ain't it. I just really wish there was more awareness available to people to want to engage in these adventures.

You will be alright visiting Wooky Hole in Somerset, England. It’s a huge open, tourist cave that isn’t claustrophobic at all.

Spelunking horror stories. Great idea! Issues of claustrophobia, flooding and disorientation come to mind. All great scenarios for the genre.

6:00 Just because the rope was cut at the beginning doesn't mean it magically disappeared. It was still laying on the ground and could navigate them almost to the entrance

There's a man on RUclips who explores caves out West. He films it. I wish I could remember his channel. But, near the end of the cave, off to the left in a side cave he came upon something that looked like a body, a tall body, wrapped in garbage bags. He started gagging, saying how awful the stench was and he had to leave. He thought someone buried their dog. I'm like, a 6 foot dog? No way. He left the cave and that was that. I thought he should have contacted the police. It was abandoned mine shafts, yellowish dirt.

Unpopular opinion, I think this guy sounds nothing like Mr. Nightmare. Though they might both be great at ominous storytelling, they have have different voices and tones.

Bro I’ve seen so many of these scary narration stories that I’ve become desensitized to them. However earlier today I saw this on my feed and new that I’d be waiting till I got to bed to watch it. Fast forward twelve hrs later and here I am cowering in my bed at one in the morning cuz holy crap that last story really got me. These cave/mine ones really hit home cuz I explore a lot of caves and mines where I live. Actually hearing these stories scares the crap out of me. Rlly gonna make me think twice before I climb in a mine or a sewer tunnel. Gosh dang my hearts racing…
1st story: "it was extremely hidden behind some trees" was the cave that was "through the dense trees of the forest" in the deep woods a few minutes off the road- that ur friend 'saw on the way to ur house'??.. Haven't listen to the rest of the story yet but sound like ur friend settin u up or something haha

I thought the exact same thing! I tend to listen to ppl and stories like a detective and that jumped out at me. If it was extremely hidden, how’d the friend stumble upon it late at night? 🤔🤔
It's possible, but OPs friend couldn't have set up all of it by himself multiple people would have been involved. If it was a setup, OPS friend did a hell of a job.
I vote for prank. If the multiple people outside with knives were going to attack the two kids, they would have surrounded their vehicle, not waited in the treeline.
