I just got my Altima SL, bought it the main reason being pro pilot assist. The day I got to know about it, I had a feeling it would be an awesome feature and sure enough it is. Various other cars offering lane keep assist would usually ping-pong but this doesn't and keeps you centered strongly. Now I am addicted to it. Its like a rewarding system when the pro pilot kicks in and takes up the driving on your behalf :) Also the complete stop and hold while in cruise is such an awesome feature in slow moving traffic. It won't even ask you to hold the wheel if the speed is less than 10 miles an hour and pro pilot is active. I downgraded from a 2017 Nissan Maxima and I am happy about it. Don't care much about V6 power(not racing) or CVT issues. This thing drives smooth and floats literally. This is such a fun car at an affordable price. Should be the number 1 in its kind. The redesign done in 2019 is seriously a great one as it looks so sleek inside and out. Now I am all the time super excited to head out. Its a true bang for your buck. Nice video, keep up the great work.
@@paulbarnard1535 braking obviously is instantaneous under sufficient pressure. Friction is non-existent. I love how the bottom of the steering wheel is horizontal versus the typical round shape, it leaves tons of room for turning comfortably. Speed is incredible on freeway. It's only $35 to fill the gas tank as well. It's fuel-efficient but can be costly in that area depending on the amount of driving you do. Overall, I like it. No complaints. I don't know too much about cars, so I just stated what I like about the Altima compared to my Pacifica. Hope it informed you in some way.
Wish i could've got the Platinum. Had to settle for the SR with no premium package. :( At least i was able to get AWD. Still though, it's a fantastic car. Compared to the decrepit 2011 Subaru Outback with 170k miles, the thing's a freaking muscle car.
Your the man my 1st car is a nissan sentra sv 2018 I live in NYC so didnt really need to drive but I got it last year and when im ready im gonna get me a nissan Altima it looks very nice one thing does it come in red? Lol 😆
I just got the SR and love it, upgraded from my 2018. The only thing that I notice, maybe it's me, the front seat feels like it's been reduced in size. My knees tangle over with no support underneath like with my 2018. The seats are more padded but the reduced seat length is really annoying to me and I'm only 6'0". Otherwise, it's an amazing vehicle in its class. It's quick, smooth and handles well. The darn seats though! Lol
It’s no imagination, the seats are definitely smaller, beginning in the ‘19 redesign. They are narrower, and not as long as it’s predecessor. They are designed to so call hold you in better. I’m 6ft even, too. I was impressed with the car, though, nonetheless.
@@sherrikwhiteside6107 Glad you confirmed it, it was bothering me and my wife thought I was going nuts! Turns out, the "padding" is also much thicker so it seems to push my lumbar out further than usual. I'm actually getting used to it and all the other aspects of the car completely overshadow any negatives! Very pleased!
I'm not sure what I would want for my first car. I feel like I could score a really good deal on a Nissan Altima but my primary choice is the 2020 Hyundai Sonata.
What are the advantages to getting the platinum compared to the other Altima models? I’m thinking about getting this as a first car and trying to convince my parents to drop some extra dough on the platinum lol
thanks for inquiring. the platinum comes with the leather seats, upgraded sound system memory position for the driver seat around view monitor and a few other nice bells and whistles
I'm looking for a new Altima platinum however when I go to their website they show all trims but the Platinum, the highest trim is the SL am I missing something?
Altima, Sentra and Rogue all looking good especially the Sentra and Rogue. Nissan is coming back again.
hopefully my friend
You said it. All looking hella sexy lol

The SL is just as good. Minus the 360 camera and the memory seat. It has everything else.

nothing wrong with the SR my dude. Phenomenal ride
I been watching your videos, I’m debating between the rouge vs the Altima??
thanks so much . I guess it would all depend on the size of the family. the 2021 rogue is real special compared to this Altima
@@carsunlocked just for me
@@_Kal1man then it all depends if you want the SUV size
@@carsunlocked cool, I just saw your video of the Altima vs maxima ! Both are good cars
@@_Kal1man that's awesome thanks so much for watching
I would change from 19 to 17/18 size tires
why s that
@@carsunlocked because tires ain’t cheap and the thread wear isn’t good in bigger size tires
