The SL AWD is awesome. I love mine. Bose audio is so punchy and high clarity. Also the pro pilot assist is life saver. Hang a hot-pack around the wheel and enjoy your ride hands free on those long stretches. Awesome fun ride.
@@kevinmorse3738 The car has only 14k miles on it so far. Haven't faced any issues. What I have observed so far is that during winter time, unless the engine is warmed up enough, the acceleration doesn't happen. Its like, you can apply gas, but the car won't accelerate until the engine temperature rises. Reason from the internet “Modern vehicles have what we sometimes refer to as a "warm up program". The transmission will hold engine revs a bit higher until the engine warms up. This is to warm up the engine and catalytic converters faster for emissions reasons. When the engine is cold, it needs more fuel to run, causing more emissions out of the tail pipe. Warming it up faster, reduces the length of time this happens.”
Love this review. Not spending too much time on obvious features that we can all see like most reviews😂 that’s not why people watch car reviews so good job 🎉
Great review ..I looking at this car..many other reviewers complained that acceleration felt slow even though it's 0-60 time is 7.3 which isn't slow.. how did you find the acceleration and passing power sluggish or fine? Thank you.
@@dav3917 I just got the SR VC-Turbo. 0-60 in 5.7. This car is so much fun to drive and it looks mean! Not only is this engine fast but the MPG is awesome. I got 42mpg on a highway trip the other day. Highly recommend this car.
@@UnenthusedEnthusiast nice that is a sweet beast you are lucky..unfortunately in Canada they don't offer the turbo one which sucks they did carry the v6 one which was a sweet one too but just the 2.5 awd for us here . Hopefully that will change..enjoy for me bro :)

@@carsunlocked hi just wanted to respond back .we decided to get my 2022 Nissan Sr midnight addition. It's gunmetal grey with 3 miles we will get next week it's coming off 18wheeler!!! We are so blessed and excited can't wait to drive it
I'd love to be able to get these in the UK. But over here it's currently "you'll have a stodgy crossover and LIKE it" from most manufacturers - so your Camry, Accord and Altima etc aren't available. You'll also pay more in pounds than the US pays in Dollars and your workaday volume saloon (sedan) will cost as much as the equivalent BMW/Merc and be marketed as a "premium" car. To absolutely nobody. The UK car industry is going through one of its worst periods on record with low sales and general uninterest.
Nissan has stated that they have worked out the kinks. They were a first mover of the CVTs and had a lot of kinks starting out. now as time goes on more manufacturers are adding cvt transmissions to their vehicle
Poor design by Nissan on the older cvt. They overheated, belts ripped and many other issues. As per Nissan, my 2022 Altima has reinforced belt and pulleys. Plus high performance Trans fluid. Let's see how it plays out. I'm leasing, let's see how the car does. But most likely no buyout because of cvt. But the car is the perfect daily driver man. Super comfortable, quiet, smooth, boss audio A+, leather, awd........Great car and value
It's a fantastic car, i have one, and in less than 2 months, have put over 3160miles on it, from 4 miles when it was taken out of the show room. However, somethings seem out of place from what i was told from the official NissanUSA website, and the dealership. The SR (at least in the states), does not come with navigation. I noted that as my biggest complaint about the car, because it lacks an integrated compass. To get on board navigation with that compass, I'd have to step up to the SL, or Platinum. Is nav on the SR a Canadian only thing? EDIT: It is. I just checked the Canadian Nissan website, and it does. In fact, the Canadian SR Altima is all around a better equipped car than it's American counterpart, at a lower price. That's so stupid.
@@carsunlocked The SV in the US does have a Premium Package that does come with a sunroof, Nissan's version of lane keep assist, and adaptive cruises control, as well as other things, but no navigation.
@@carsunlocked I'm a Nismo guy and love the Altima redesign but the performance for me being a Nismo Fan is disappointing and the Maxima too. Should have kept the 3.5 in the Altima but o well. Just personal opinion no disrespect at all just a sad time for Nissan in general these days.
Nissan did great with this sedan, i see these everywhere!
