    This all seems so basic and obvious, but I love how you dont make assumptions of the audience knowledge level. I have build about a dozen now and still enjoy watching. Maybe cause youre so pretty.

    Getting so close and having SO much fun: #Learning! Thanks, as always, JB! Not just for this outstanding series of videos, your efforts is assembling a great 'kit' - but for ALL the amazing insight and learning explored along the way. All about props: Check. Getting started with ELRS: Check. Configuring the TX16S: Check. I know I'll be coming back to these topics, and their associated 'deep dive' videos, time and again. The more I learn - the more I realize how much MOAR I have to learn! :)

    Another throttle safety tip is to always hold your thumb on the throttle stick pushing it down.

    This specific video saved me lots of frustration on a whoop I got from someone. The drone would flip as soon as I tried to power up the props. (Gyro was set wrong angle) Thanks Joshua ;)

    Thanks for the great series! Just wanted to mention something I noticed, I think the flight controller first came correctly oriented. Only after the step of the accelerometer calibration does it seem like it requires the change in FC orientation.

  • @hubexergaming8224
    @hubexergaming8224 11 месяцев назад

    crazy how the accelerometer works.
    It brings me to a question. Does the FC wear out over time? I mean the accelerometer as much as all other electronical parts on the FC? Is there a number of flight hours on that you should think about a FC change?

    How do you find out what hardware you have on your FPV if you have not built it and you have no diagram showing how video receiver connected to flight controller to choose the right options in Ports menu in beta flight please ?
    Also how do you find out and get same software for receiver and transmitter for binding radio master tx 12 ?
    Thanks.

    Thank you so much for the tutorial! So nicely done, and very well structured! What a pleasure to learn! :)
    If I may ask, what type of gimbal sticks (ends) do you have on the video?

    • @JoshuaBardwell
      @JoshuaBardwell  Год назад

      Those are ag01 gimbals. The stock ends are from thumb grippies.

    What RC Link preset should I load when using the DJI 03 Air unit? In general, love the instructional videos, have taken a lot of time having to research specifics for DJI O3 Air unit setup and DJI FPV Controller 2. Am I missing all the videos beyond installing the O3 air unit? Without tracking down comments in the comments section and hunting other videos, I would have been totally lost with the options I picked when purchasing the kit.

    • @JoshuaBardwell
      @JoshuaBardwell  Год назад +2

      All the videos in this series are in the playlist linked in the description and comments of every video. There are no instructions for using the DJI Controller in this series. There are instructions for setting up the flight controller to work with the O3, such as the on-screen display.
      The first video in this series lists the equipment that will be used in the series. The tutorials show how to use an ELRS radio and receiver. If you decide to use different equipment than is used in the tutorial, you will have to do some original research to finish setting it up.
      For the DJI O3 Air Unit, there are two RC Link presets in the Presets tab. One is named DJI Normal and one is named DJI SBUS FAST. Choose whichever one of those matches the protocol you are using (normal vs. fast SBUS, which is selected in your DJI goggle menu).

    If we are using the DJI 03 and the controller 2, do we still select the heads up racing rates or keep the same rates from the earlier DJI video #5?

    • @JoshuaBardwell

      The rates are the same.

    Sir please kindly help to sort this problem actually I was using the Geprc F722 Aio FC and I already and flying without vtx module but now purchased the o3 unit and installed after that I coudnt able to connect the rx receiver and am using the Elrs rp1 if am removing the o3 unit and using means it’s working and if am without connecting batter if I connect to beta flight that time to working it seems if power supply goes to o3 unit Elrs not working but the o3 unit working and transmit signal to my new integra goggles but on that time rx not working. Please kindly help to sort out 🙏

    • @craigbu7755
      @craigbu7755 Год назад

      The 03 unit has built in rx for a dji controller2. You need to remove two wires from your 03 harness when using elrs.
