They are very different. True, they are both acapella, but it's like comparing two operas just because they both are operas. Pentatonix have the timing perfection. It's just glorious. VoicePlay have playfulness and characters.

O.K. I know you don't like me much, but if you would give a young welsh girl a listen I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Her name is Gracie-Jayne and she was on The Voice Kids Great Britain. If you want to show young singers how to open their mouths when they sing, she is your role model. I don't care if you use it here or not, but Gracie-Jayne's growth as a singer is spectacular. She sings, "Many Rivers To Cross" as her semi-final song. It is here that God touches her and she is never the same. They have a compilation video that lasts about 12 minutes, that gives you the best overview of how her singing grows. I hope you will listen to her she is special. I was crying 5 notes into her blind audition, "Golden Slumbers", that has always been my response to something that defies my ability to explain what I just have seen. It is an involuntary response, so I don't look for it to happen, it just happens. I have always had this response, which is hard to deal with when you are 8,10,15 years old and you start to cry the first time you hear Janis Joplan sing, "Ball and Chain". I have learned to embrace it, like I have a choice. Anyway, just give her a chance and forget who gave you the request.

If you want to show young singers how to open their mouths when they sing, she is your role model. I don't care if you use it here or not, but Gracie-Jayne's growth as a singer is spectacular. She sings, "Many Rivers To Cross" as her semi-final song. It is here that God touches her and she is never the same. They have a compilation video that lasts about 12 minutes, that gives you the best overview of how her singing grows. I hope you will listen to her she is special. I was crying 5 notes into her blind audition, "Golden Slumbers", that has always been my response to something that defies my ability to explain what I just have seen. It is an involuntary response, so I don't look for it to happen, it just happens. I have always had this response, which is hard to deal with when you are 8,10,15 years old and you start to cry the first time you hear Janis Joplan sing, "Ball and Chain". I have learned to embrace it, like I have a choice. Anyway, just give her a chance and forget who gave you the request.
