Liked the video, did notice slight missing letter on a plaque. Not picking, beautiful machinery. Look forward to seeing more. Also love the music and not much talking.
I never would have thought of using the lathe for flattening/squaring up rectangular pieces. This man is creative on many levels, including how he uses his machines.
I know what you mean, this gentleman is one of those who reminds us that a lathe can be just as much a milling machine as the dedicated vertical milling machines!
Excellent looking project AND music that doesn't make my ears bleed or worse!? Regardless of the sound quitting about a third into your production (technical difficulties happen) and returning at about 11:50, I am happy to confirm what you and we already know: You are an artist my friend.
Awesome project! I myself had a lot of scrap wire to strip down a few months ago, which was really tiring work. That machine would've saved me so much time, 😅. I'd instantly go about building a copy, if only I had regular access to scrap wires. That's a business right there.
If you put two angled washers to just a little bit larger than the blade, and sandwich these washers to the blade these angled washers will force the wires straight under the blade, no matter how bent the wires are.
Непонятная для чего штука - кто каннибал и на медь потрошит провода - тому она не впала вообще - а другие не разбирают провода на составляющие! Короче вещь в себе получилась! 😎😎😎
So is your day job working in the Aero-Space Industry or some Defense Contractor.... lol, or you might do plenty well doing this "gig" but you remind me of my cousin who worked for Texas Instruments working on secret government stuff but he also made gas engines for radio controlled planes. Back in the mid 80's they were all combustion engines so he designed / built miniature plane engines. I was young & didn't realize the skills needed to do all of that so watching your work here reminds me of him. thanks for that, peace & GB ALL
Another excellent project. Excellent editing and excellent music.

Nice. You gotta love that power feed feature.
I need to do something like that. I've got lots of wires in different sizes and multiple ganged as well... Thumbs Up!
My favorite project of yours.

Super gut 🔩🔧
Could you feed ground cable used for 650 amp welders thru this? Some of that is at least 1/2 inch in diameter or more.
What brand are your taps?

Well, that's it, now the communications tremble, the cables will be cut in the most unexpected places.
