Thank you so much for this video. I used hair grease on my hair almost 20yrs ago. Then a few days ago i tried silk press without hair grease and in a few minutes my hair was frizzy. It was a shame as well because i wanted to blend them in with my clip in extensions. Yesterday, I thought about using grease to straighten my hair again after not using it for 20yrs. After watching this video I will definitely be using hair grease before blow-drying and straightening my hair. Thank you so much for providing us with your experiences with and without hair grease its been very helpful.
Me too. The only time I can get style longevity on blown out or straightened hair without grease is the winter. Air needs to be bone dry or my hair poofs.

I got tired of listening to everyone telling me not to put oil on hair before straightening. I use a good lightweight oil and I love it! I like the oily shinny smooth look. I can’t use grease though because it’s too heavy. I have to use a good shampoo though since I use oil on hair to prevent product build up

Grease is the only thing that keeps my hair from reverting. My hair will revert in an hour without it.

To be honest I stopped using grease to straighten a while ago. I use Kerastase products now and get the light flowy hair.
I’ve always wanted to try Keratese. I may do a review. 😉

I like the look without, though you can achieve that look with hairgrease if the grease is used lightly
