Apologies for the slight distorted audio on this. Recently updated to Windows 11 and of course that messed up every audio setting I have. Tried to clean up the audio as best as possible but it's not quite perfect.
A major differences between them might be in set piece taking. The perfect all 20 would be taking pens, freekick, and corner elsewhere the pefect not all 20 most likely never take them
I'd love to see a similar experiement where you have a perfect 20/20 player for each striker role to find out which role is king. I.e. 20/20 for a complete forward, advanced, pressing, target, false 9 etc.
@@mihneaiordan1813 That is true, you might as well do that for every role in every position. Even comparing the attack vs support vs defend. Even a CB’s stopper vs cover vs defend.
I did the same experiment 3 times just to see it . They are pretty much the same in terms of scoring all the time just with little variations depends in what team they end up. Only difference is Perfect 20 everything has more assist coz he has better vision and his role is Complete Forward in SC position instead of Advanced Forward role.
To do this type of experiment, is better to put them in seperate club so both players will be trained as ST in their early years. As u can see that 'not perfect 20' is at disadvantage becuz he played at right side. Even in his later year his profile description is Elite Attacking midfielder..
Can you do an experiment with two perfect strikers, one maximum height while the other has minimum height? Name the tall one "Taylor Tiny" and the short one "Hugh Huge"
@@NostalgiNorden That's true, I have a striker who is only 5'5 and 23 out of his 25 goals in our title winning season were were headers, he was outjumping 6'4 centre backs regularly.
@@mikeparkinson8192 In the NBA, you have guys who are over 6’0 have verticals that are over 40+ inches. There’s an retired NBA player who is 5’7, his vert is 46 inches.
you should do a similar one with the 20 in that position specific stats and then like 16 in all round (or whatever to make it the same current ability) rather than 20 in all . then its more solid all round vs one trick pony
Also, being in different leagues would add to the difference. English Premiere league is very physical and difficult to get large number of goals over the entire season compare to La Liga
I wonder whether the results would have been much different if the one player had all the stats required for a complete forward rather than an advance forward
Maybe you should check on their teams as well? I wonder if Player 2 had tough competitors on the AF role so that he was placed on the right wing to maximize the formation by the coach. While on the other hand, player 1 probably didn't have tough competitors in Barcelona on the striker role.
I'd like you to create 4 youth players, a gk, def, mid, and striker... aged 15.... potential ability 200 but put the current ability at 85. Sim then seen who reaches their potential and see who flops
Hey Tom can you do an FM experiment that is “What Nations Are Only One Perfect Striker away from winning the World Cup?” Now that we are about out of the group stages?
Rerun the experiment but give the 'weaker' striker favourable striker traits, and the 'perfect' one traits that should hinder him and see whether by doing this the one with lesser attributes can close or overhaul the gap
I have a better idea for an experiment, one striker has all of the attributes to be an advanced foward on 20, and the rest on 10. But the other striker has all of the needed attributes at 10 but all the rest on 20.
next experiment make a team of players with 20 out of 20 for everything and make them able to play all positions. see how they all turn out their careers
Hey Tom can i just ask for some tips i want to make a 16 year old young striker to journey with me through my career mode ? What can i put into the player to make him a future superstar ?? I would really appreciate if you helped me out
Lol. You know just as well as anyone that has been playing FM for some time that putting 20 on everything doesn't work. There is an upper limit and then when you go over that the players stats goes down.
Feel like the non perfect striker would've had his numbers diluted by Erling Haalands presence at man city. Football manager would usually try and play both players in the same system rather than dropping one or the other. I can't be certain, but I imagine that haaland is one of the few undroppable players in FM like neymar, mbappe, debruyne etc. In the Barcelona squad, lewandowski is aging and would've been 37 by the time the perfect striker joined Barcelona and there aren't any other star strikers at the club
If he’s the best striker in the world, wouldn’t it make sense if he mastered the role of a Complete Forward (Attack)? Since it’s rare to find a player that can play that role, that must mean only the best player can play that role.
Confusing edit with the "so that's interesting that they've developed that over the course of their careers" and then cutaway to you saying the exact same thing again, haha.

You should know not to "update" to Windows 11. Rookie error lad 🤦🏻♂️
I like this tbh
Didn't notice any audio issues? Always enjoy these experiments! Catching up on your content, checking keepers next.

Yeah, but since there is a maximum of 200 abilities, he actually doesn't have 20 pens, freekicks, etc.

Height has zero effect on gamepaly.
Happy to help.

I was thinking exactly the same. Might do it myself 😆
I wonder what happened to them in 2024/25
both only played handful of games that year.
Inside forward and advanced striker have very similar attributes so that’s probably why he’s being played on the wing
What happened in 24/25 season both only played 5 games both left on free at same time. Did something happen to Malaga? Did they go under?
1:32 That was smooth Tom. Lovely transition, i saw that 🤝🤝
Happy new year Tom ❤
These guys literally perfect and still dont scare me as much as when I play against Haaland
Finally another video like this one!
What happened in that last season in malaga for both players?
Also, being in different leagues would add to the difference. English Premiere league is very physical and difficult to get large number of goals over the entire season compare to La Liga

Have you ever tried giving a non-league side 10000 reputation and seeing what that alone does to its fortunes?
Should force them to be in the same league that would be more fair. Love the content
Really cool Experiment Tom. Both are top notch Strikers too be fair, i wouldn't mind either of them lol.

How about a video on the perfect team but with 1 pace and 1 speed. How will the best but slowest team do in their career

Tom. How about the Perfect National Squad. With multiple positions.
What's wi the Jaz? Found myself clicking my fingers. Lol
Damnit, i always read pressure the wrong way. Where 20 was bad, not good (think injury proness)
Make the most aggressive player ever, 20 aggression, fights the ref, 20 strength and tackling, poor positioning with super speed, dives in tackles

Created the prefect team and put it in the national league south or north
So pretty much a very simplified version of Ronaldo and Messi
The worst/lowest rep playable club sides for each European country in the Champions League please!
What happened in 2024/2025? Both of them barely played at Malaga
Can you do the 10s and 20s vs haaland vs mbappe

Funny how The perfect player still can't get the real Goats Numbers
Should have had them on different teams tbh. That way they'd get equal playing time
Wild that they were perfect and only came close to Ronaldo and Messi’s tally’s 🤯
enner valencia
Doesn't flair needed for a striker?
Can you change population in pree game editor on fm 23
Wow , I'm doing a malaga save as we speak.
Put a perfect player at each L2 club and see what happens in 5,10,20 years
La Liga is way weaker too. Levante vs Everton for example... At PL you have like 0 easy game, while in La Liga you have a lot of weak team.
Create the perfect goalkeeper next!
Crazy how even with perfect stats they don't reach Ronaldo and Messi numbers in their Career
Gibraltar's a weird place
How has everyone been finding Football Manger?
I did this and my player scored like 160 goals in a season lol.
Feel like the one Man City had more competition to start ( Haaland)
“I created Erlinda haaland on fm23”
Video is great but background music sucks.
Redo this experiment and put both of them in a bottom league team and see who rises to the top first
Agent 47 Music
How tf perfect st 20 still has less goals and assist than Messi at Barca.
How about 2 perfect strikers but with deferent traits 😊
Interesting that perfect strikers on a game can’t even score more goals than messi or ronaldo in real life 😂
my FM22 Lukaku had better goals to game ratio than these two lol
