I recently got saved and also have always been attracted to girls. I never felt it to be wrong. I embraced it as just who I am, despite so much criticizm. After being saved, I'm starting to feel truly convicted. not from outside pressure but just the dissapointment of sinning against God. Still haven't broken up with my gf and best friend, we've been together over 3 years. But I feel a strong conviction. I still want to have her as a friend though if it's possible. it's so hard but thanks to finding this woman here on youtube (I believe God showed me on purpose) I feel like it'll be worth it even if it hurts. whether I become attracted to and marry a man, or remain celibate for life. First of all, Jesus Christ is our Father, and He loves us just the way we are but Can't use us the way we are, I could remember when I was 18yrs I asked God to allow me marry a girl even though I have never been with one (till date) Then he said It Simply means am no more God if I allow you marry a girl, I never understood it then, but now I understood what it was,and HE told me the day you will be with a girl, you Will Die Spiritually and physically. That was years ago till now it has kept me away from girls even though I desired them before not anymore they disgust me (sexually). I had sexual encounters with my cousins/siblings when i was little many times. I was led into porn and masturbation at such a young age. Around my teen years I was depressed, suicidal, drank alcohol, took my parents prescription drugs and had such a bad attitude towards my parents. I was filled with gossip and body image problems. I was a lukewarm christian and didn't lean on God as much as I needed to. Jesus reached me through the Christian tiktokers. The tiktoks taught me things, convicted me and led me to eventually reading my bible. I always tried to read my bible but I thought it was so boring. Not even gonna lie i came to Christ because i was afraid of going to hell. But God revealed to me all the grace he has been doing in my life. He led me to him and chose me even though i was deserving of death. Now im a 15 year old saved black woman in Christ. This is probably the most peace and happiness i felt mentally and spiritually in awhile. I had to learn this through my journey but Christianity is not a religion but a relationship and now I depend on Jesus for everything I do. Even helping me find my mom's phone case lol. Its just awesome knowing that i can always lean on a person who loves me and couldn't love me any less or more!

@@ceejay9641 The entire testimony speaks to what I see, but I am going to pin point a few using one of the other greatest temptation to man: FOOD. 8:48 Over-eating is a sin, 12:22 yet we find comfort in it, and in that comfort, we can't find the peace that we seek... we are uncomfortable from the weight gained and the dieting to try to be in control. 17:49 FOOD is the idol that we worship in this sin that we think we can't give up, and there is a consequence to this sin...the more we eat, the more we want to eat; the pork, the candy, the chips, the fried chicken, the cake, and the pies all sooth our soul; or so we think. I know!! I grew up in a church where smiling big was considered showy. LOL!! I still cant bring myself to get rowdy in church, but I will raise my hand to Heaven if feeling a spiritual moment. "The mold of what a girl is supposed to be." What a terrible thing we have done to both sexes. So many people think that if they arent this way or that then they must be...(fill in the blank). I never felt that to be a woman was to be any one way or another...I knew so many different women growing up. My one great aunt was the EVERYTHING a Baptist minister's wife SHOULD be and most dont seam to be able to be. My grandmother was that mean Christian woman and my Mom was that tough woman who was super tough at work at the mill and super girly after her bath with powder and Avon cologne. My aunt was a hill billy that could shoot like Daniel Boon. I had no one image of what a woman was, so I knew I could be my tom boy, who loves a bath and pink socks self and I'm STILL a girl, cuz that is how HE made me...in HIS image. My friends were mostly boys, cuz they were more fun to play and talk with. At 11 the girls all started talking nothing but lip gloss and Sean Cassidy...gag! it was many years before I could find common ground with the girls...but I knew I was still a girl...that liked to shoot a gun, eat pizza, be nice smelling and wear jeans...girl jeans. I know there are men who think because they arent super tough, they MUST be women trapped in men's bodies...nope. You are just a different sort of man, and there is a woman out there who will love a man who is gentle or a little effeminate. She may have been hurt by tough guys and would trust a man that isnt more. Be as He made you, and He will fulfill all your needs...not always your wants (we often want what is bad for us).

Honestly, this is one of the best things I have listened to all day thanks so much, Jackie. the part I loved about most was when you spoke about repentance not being the absence of temptations but the ability to submit and obey under the authority of Christ and deny our selves of such desires. it talks to me more about stewardship in christ. I am in this season of my life where I getting a whole lot of understanding about following christ and not the desires of my sinful self. thank you, sis, for this message.

I know!! I grew up in a church where smiling big was considered showy. LOL!! I still cant bring myself to get rowdy in church, but I will raise my hand to Heaven if feeling a spiritual moment. THAT would have probably gotten me added to the prayer list...the one where we pray someone "gets right" LOL! I'm very light...a red head and know the church she is joking about. We show we are spirit filled by nodding our heads to the message. LOL!! I have loosened up a bit now that the family has all gone to Heaven to wait for me...I'm sure there will be a meeting when I get there. My great uncle the Southern Baptist minister will be probably lead it.
She is basically saying ... God showed her that liking same sex was becoming a turn off and to come to him for the right way to flee the ungodly ways.

"The mold of what a girl is supposed to be." What a terrible thing we have done to both sexes. So many people think that if they arent this way or that then they must be...(fill in the blank). I never felt that to be a woman was to be any one way or another...I knew so many different women growing up. My one great aunt was the EVERYTHING a Baptist minister's wife SHOULD be and most dont seam to be able to be. My grandmother was that mean Christian woman and my Mom was that tough woman who was super tough at work at the mill and super girly after her bath with powder and Avon cologne. My aunt was a hill billy that could shoot like Daniel Boon. I had no one image of what a woman was, so I knew I could be my tom boy, who loves a bath and pink socks self and I'm STILL a girl, cuz that is how HE made me...in HIS image. My friends were mostly boys, cuz they were more fun to play and talk with. At 11 the girls all started talking nothing but lip gloss and Sean Cassidy...gag! it was many years before I could find common ground with the girls...but I knew I was still a girl...that liked to shoot a gun, eat pizza, be nice smelling and wear jeans...girl jeans. I know there are men who think because they arent super tough, they MUST be women trapped in men's bodies...nope. You are just a different sort of man, and there is a woman out there who will love a man who is gentle or a little effeminate. She may have been hurt by tough guys and would trust a man that isnt more. Be as He made you, and He will fulfill all your needs...not always your wants (we often want what is bad for us).

Oh Amen and Amen!!! The church is too comfortable to deal with worldly issues. Because the church is too Christian and wants people to be posh and clean on the outside but nevermind the inside. Jesus said we can come as we are!! How can we ever say we have a relationship with the Saviour if we have never been tainted because it's in that dark place that we see His face!
