This song was involved in so many beautiful memories in our relationship... I ended up hurting the love of my life and she ended things. I'm respectfully giving her all of the space she needs to heal and to grow and in the meantime, I'm working on learning this on the piano and hope to be able to sing and play at the same time. I'm pouring all of my heart and soul into doing this for her because the lyrics truly capture not only how I feel, but also what's happened in our relationship and how we could fix things... Robert Magat Of course there is a basis of comparison, it's by the same artist and it has the theme of love. All of me has a four chord structure which can be boring to listen to after a while. I liked it when I first heard it but got sick of it after a few times. Whereas this song has a more interesting structure with specific lyrics and more passion. I know All of Me is about Chrissy Teigen but look at the lyrics, he never mentions what it is about her that captivated him. That song could be about any woman in the world. This does not discount the fact that writing a song for your wife is a very sweet gesture and good for him for doing it.

As a teenage girl who had a lot of turmoil going on in her life at home as well as at school, I used to play this song and I used to watch this video. That young girl still lives inside the young woman I am today. All these years later it still pulls at my heart strings. I guess this was a song I would listen to to comfort that inner child. I'm glad to say I'm on an exciting spiritual journey and finding ways to heal everyday. I hope you all do too. Turn your life over to Christ nothing happens until you start praying. Whatever it is you're struggling with I testify and say in confidence if you start praying to him to change the situation around I promise you he can and he will. Talk to him often confide in him in all things do it as often as you can I promise you you will start to see things change in your life. Trust the process. Edit: Cameron Boyce is a disney channel actor who starred on Jessie as Luke, as Carlos in Descendants 1, 2, and 3, and has had extra appearances in other stuff. He’s a really lovable guy and a great dancer, but unfortunately he passed away around a year ago @ 19-20 years old. His death was a huge surprise to everyone, and everyone was extremely upset. Apparently he sang this song too, I didn’t even know until I read the comments in the comment section.
