Halalaa..😂😂😂 after a whole 2years I am here enjoying this episode.
Halalaa....😂😂😂😂😂😂
I'm not one to comment but I needed to show my appreciation to you KING. Thank you for documenting black history, I wish more and more people discover this amazing channel. Ska fela moya
I don’t know if I have a phone call to ask for you but if I don’t know what time I can call him back I can do that for him or you have have to ask for me to ask you what he wants and I said I don’t know what you you do for you you too don’t don’t have a life right but you you know I don’t have a life right but you know what I
The Great Jerry Phele never leaves "HALALA!" out of his conversations 🤣🤣🤣🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Halala..😂😂😂😂😂
I'm Zulu and I can't speak a word of this language but it's funny how I tuned in for the whole 3hours and I could hear a lot of what was said.
I know you don't mean any disrespect but please call it what it is, ke Sesotho NOT "this language"
Kanete. Gona le le tello nyana mo
@@DinoRenald got you, but I would have if I knew what language it is, dude I can't differentiate between Sesotho, Setswana or Sepedi. I can't. But I love all South African languages man.
@@xolanibhengu6796 the fact that you have data/wifi to watch these videos means that you have an opportunity to do a little 30 minutes research to learn the difference between the 3 languages, that shouldn't really be a problem because you love them, right?
I grew up in SA and watching tv alone helped me learn the difference between all the languages spoken here. I challenge you to be the person who breaks this stereotype of "Zulu people don't wanna learn other SA languages".
@@xolanibhengu6796 here's one thing that's bothering me though, you watched Emzini Wezinsizwa and you don't know that Mofokeng speaks Sesotho? 😂😂😂 you listened to the whole interview and heard him say that the Director wanted a guy who speaks Sesotho for that Mofokeng role and that's why Mr Jerry Phele played that role but you still can't tell that he speaks Sesotho? 😂😂😂😂
Re leboha o menahane King David ka puisano a monate le Ntate Jerry ka tsela e makatsang. Ka nnete ke ithutile ho hongata ka tsebo le bohlale ba Ntate Jerry. This is the first ever full on interview I have ever watched on the Legendary actor and I thank you for doing so much justice to his legacy and recognition. By far one of the best interviews I have had the pleasure to watch. Thank you thank you thank you King David!!!!!
Ntate Jerry Phele o agile family bond in my family, where nna, papa, mama le nnake we all laughed together. Viva Ntate Jerry. Ke leboga go menagane.
A friend of mine told me 3 hours are long for an interview. I then saw the danger of “short video” platforms and realised how this is slowly diminishing our ability to read books. Mr Mashabela, you are slowly reviving our hunger to have patience to read books and keep our focus for this long.
Thank you so much. I’m glad you see value in long format content
Kudos to you Ntate Mashabela for allowing Ntate Phele to narrate his life story. It was a bliss watching the interview it didn't feel like 3 hours at all.
Who else wishes that all these were on national television???
King Mashabela you should do something.®®®
the show won't be enjoyable it would be too short to enjoy as per the podcast.
3hours felt like 30minutes, i enjoyed every minute of the interview 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
#Ho nkga toronko 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
🙆🏾♂📌😊 Ro no vha fhano (Venda)

He’s such a good storyteller. He tells stories with patience and ease ...
The beauty about David is that he has managed to bring his followers from radio... Be it day or night... To this platform! We appreciate you my man, thanks.
I hardly interact in these platforms but I just had to show my appreciation for your Podcast.
Your choice of guests and your questions 👏🙏
It sure is refreshing to listen to an interview in Vernac... Im amazed at how much I understand non-Nguni languages... one sounds like Southern Sotho the other sounds like Sepedi... My home language is isiXhosa
Wow... King Deza, you are recording History my Broer... Amazing story from the Horses mouth🤔😎🙏🏽
Thanks King David, l never laughed like this in a long time, yoh bra Jerry is a real legend, a good narrator of stories, the show was epic as usual l must confess. Love you interviewers bra, Keep it up!!!
This is literally one of the most enjoyable interviews I’ve EVER watched. I kept looking at the time hoping it will never end. I can’t wait until more black people have access to the internet because most of his fans will never have the opportunity to watch this brilliant conversation. Well done David. #documentingblackhistory

Me too🤣🤣when he was asked where he grew up I proudly said "Qwaqwa"🤣🙌🏿
Maybe it's because in Emzini Wezinsizwa he mentioned "Nna Baba Mkhize Qwaqwa hae kwana hee..."

Timeless content bra David. Capturing our legends. Thank you so much for this interveiw
This interview started quiet deep come to focus deeply on how what is said is said upon hanging on every word in this conversation 👌
Bra Jerry😊😊Phele, I love this great actor. I had the pleasure to meet him and sit with him and the cast of Emzini we zinsizwa in Mamelodi, Solomon Mahlangu square back in the day. I cherish those days, I cherish the conversations with yourself, Roland Mqwebu, Mr. Jabulani Nkosi, and Magubane, who used to correct every Zulu word I butchered 😂😂. A very soft spoken individual, long live ntate Jerry Phele.
First 30 minutes David is the guest 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ahh man...this is so sweet. Watching the curiosity in his eyes. I guess that is what keeps him young.Every question he asks, he waits patiently like a little child to get an answer.
We grew up watching ntate Mofokeng as we used to say, he is so good in acting. We really adore ntate Jerry, thank you so much for entertaining us so much. And thank you again brother David, always good

Wow, I could listen to Ntate Jeremiah for hours, thank you guys for recording the history of our legends, I never thought he had a theatre background, actors nowdays should learn from this and understand that acting needs you to do the basics.

Mr David Mashabela is one of the best interviewers I've seen, he carries conversation with ease and grace.
Love to be in your Studio, for the love of Radio, Slave to the Rhythm in the same breadth...let's take it from there****###
Great conversation.. Please can bring Piter Tladi the foma music record company executive in the 80s musician maneger and music promoter.

I enjoyed this interview so much. I was raised by Roseline Kotope (Buli's mom) in Evaton. She was one courageous, strong woman. She is late now. I love how he turns tables on David and ends up being the one asking questions 🤣🤣🤣.
