    The tension rod would make a great place to hang a dish cloth or cleaning cloth to dry. I have always laid them across my sink divider, so thanks for the inspiration ❤️

    Hey Bethany 👋 glad to see you’re doing well. In response to the tension rod under your kitchen sink. I tried it as well and wasn’t able to keep more than 2-3 bottles either. However I will put wet cloth or dish towels on there to dry, or kitchen gloves to dry. Once the are dry I toss to laundry, or put gloves away. (My daughter is allergic to dish soap so she wears gloves when doing dishes) Also another tip. I have a hook on the inside of the cabinet, I use one of those binder clips to clip the gloves together and hang on the hook. Works great and keeps them cleaner longer.

    If you have to hang things, like brooms, that do not fit on the hook, tie a string/shoelace/cord on the handle and then hang! This is helpful for oddly shaped handles, such as ergonomic handles.

    I'm also from IL. I have a lot of these organizers but not a lot of energy. This video made me realize that it's not that hard if you just do it. I also have collected way too much stuff over the years and I'm starting to declutter and get rid of nice things I just don't use. Your house looks real nice and organized. I'd like to see your linen closet being organized.

    I really enjoyed this video and got a lot of great ideas and inspiration! You are one of my favorite RUclipsrs and I am trying to get everyone I know to watch you! You have really unique and affordable DIYs and I am just amazed at how you come up with some of this stuff. I also love how you are flexible and open and honest about your trial and error. Sometimes you use something say not from Dollar Tree because the quality is better to a point where you get more out of spending a buck or two more. This is realistic and how I shop too. You are also just very genuine and sweet and I am so happy for you guys getting ready to have a baby! You helped make another day in quarantine more pleasant for me and I am so grateful. It really bothers me that there are 70 people who felt the need to watch your video and give it a thumbs down, but I am putting that aside for the sake of the good vibes I got from your video. Stay safe and healthy!

    Loved all your ideas,I’ve been doing all the same things started under the bathroom sink, I was lucky I found the racks coated in rubber,thank goodness, I had gotten set from Walmart, a year ago, stainless steal looking(not)when I was redoing it, did have a nice big towels folded on it, well it had rusted, no-dampness any where, maybe when the shower got steamed up, just thoughtfully that. Anyway the towel was no good for a rag, even, so in the trash it went. so I found another shelf from dollar tree in the garage, I always buy extra of good things. I always come out with more than entendres, don’t we all? Now I gotta get back to getting finished. I have trouble getting down for long, not near as young. Wish I had your energy. God Bless, be safe,thanks for sharing.😊👍

The video is awesome too! Thank you for sharing with us. Also, a very classy and thoughtful act to remember those in our communities that serve and are at risk of the virus. Thank you for that. Yes, we should be thankful for each of them and pray for them as well.
    I have been up all night working on our home remodel. Its full time since we have to stay home these days. As soon as I wake up, I will be organizing a few areas using your ideas. Mine always seem to get too dirty to use for food. I store my metal baking pans in there. Which I should add to prove my point, I often have to rinse out before using because of the dust and pieces of dried food or even just that stove/oven gunk that drops down into there!!

    • @neauxlagirl504
      @neauxlagirl504 4 года назад

      Yes, it's called a warmer- you store food or meat in there to stay warm, while you cook your other food items....so be mindful of what you store in there..I usually place extra metal cookie sheets or trays

      Stacy, I went on an unplanned binge watching videos like Bargain Bethany , but none done so thoroughly and clearly as beautiful Bethany does them.... there's quite a bit of repetition among the Dollar tree organizational videos but repetition is good for some things like learning and locking in ideas, as you see how other people are using items, you will gradually be able to take something from one hack and mix with another idea for your own personalized purpose! When watching a bunch of the Dollar tree organizational videos, it can be helpful sometimes to put the video on 1.5 playback speed , and speed through several and just pause and jot a quick note if you like at any time........ I tend to dream alot , meaning explore possibilities that interest me, make lists, I explore the channel of videos that were especially helpful or unique, and then I end up watching more videos by the same channel before I expend it and move on to another diy Dollar tree organizational video (and then channel surfing when a particular video stands out for me), I also spent quite alot of time studying everything that Dollar tree has on line, now I probably did this off and on for a few months...see I had to wait for finance's to line up, to let me splurge without a real plan! , While bingeing, I had made a list of some of the common items used and it was huge, naturally I didn't buy them all but it helped me when I finally got a little 'windfall' from somewhere, and went to my Dollar tree and just started buying some of those base or basic items without any real plan of how I would use them... that's the beauty of Dollar tree, you can afford to experiment !!!! But then when I got home, I laid out my stash and left it out..( in my'HAPPY Place!'...my art and crafting room, with mood lights, lava lamps and white Christmas lights mixed in too!) then as I just relaxed and recovered...oh, my legs hurt,... but I was excited by the 'many possibilities' that lay before me, crafts to try, and the new shiny bins, baskets, over the door hooks enough for nearly every door in my house, hanging baskets from gardening section to organize different crafting items in with so many places/ways to use them, wish I still had that receipt or list so I could tell you all but I think my very first project was putting together two napkin holders (silver wire type) with zip ties to use as spice rack, but as I was putting it together I realized that it could be put together in a couple of different ways and could be hung on a wall, put in the cabinet or it sits nicely on the counter or my craft table! Once I had some items at home where I needed to organization, it became so much easier to then to come up with my own variations on how to use Dollar tree products to organize to my specific needs and even style........ I hope you are able to just go little wild and stock up on 'Possibilities' , all kinds organizing items (don't forget to giant storage bags -bigger than ziplocks, all kinds of uses and can even be hung up and several over the door hooks because you will soon see the 'NEED' for them everywhere, and you can convert it into a wall hanging set of hooks (I think that's a trick I learned from Bethany!) Sorry so long... excited for newbies because I've had so much fun with this!

    I use zip ties on the end of brooms, Swiffer‘s, dusters etc. That way they fit on any hanging tool products that are to big to fit through the holes of my supply’s. My daughter works at a grocery store & has found people seem to not care that every employee are putting extra hours and working very hard to keep people safe and that they are doing their best to make sure they have products we all need. Yet my daughter & her coworker are being called horrible names and treated so disrespectfully. Even having things thrown at them just because they can only have one package of toilet paper or two whole chickens per household per day and etc. etc. My daughter is a courtesy clerk and is following the stores policies during this very scary, stressful & emotional time. Please everyone just give a smile a thank you to all the essential business employees that are working harder to help us all. They are putting themselves & there family in harms way for everyone else to have the essential services we all need. There is not a way I could ever show them/you how thankful I am. Everyone stay safe!

      RedHotTamale91 I have been doing a household item gift basket for years filling a large wooden laundry basket with laundry items (tide,dryer sheets,clothes hangers, etc) cleaning supplies (pledge,scrubbing bubbles, windex, etc) dish supplies (liquid,scrubbers,etc) paper towels, charmin, mop, broom and other little odds n ends such as toothpicks etc & etc topped with a huge bow and card all recipients and attending guests love it.... So ask yourself if you had rather purchase those items on top of all those utility deposits or have someone else foot that bill for ya? .. Not so funny after all huh?

      Correct! That's something that I would want to recieve for the reason that you said and when I tell my friends and family they just laugh at me.
      But really, since people really don't know what to get you and they just give you any ole gift as a cop out, I rather keep my money that I would spend on those supplies myself and then use it for something that I really want if someone else footed the bill for my household supplies.
