💗*NEW* 25 BEST Dollar Tree HACKS 2023: ruclips.net/video/VKcd6cDqtWA/видео.html
I really enjoy your videos and am a subscriber. You have many good ideas to share.
With the drier sheets, they work well cleaning bugs of cars. Get a bucket with soapy water and submerge a drier sheet. Do not squeeze the water out and begin wiping away bug residue. Another hack for the drier sheets is if wanting to be outside and it's buggy, take a dry drier sheet and wipe it over exposed arms, legs, neck, feet (be careful not rub over eyes). This may not keep every single bug away, but it does help. Thank you, Shannon, for inspiring us all who watch your videos.
I love these kinds of videos! BTW... My hubby has done HVAC for over 30 years and he actually gave me a tip on that whole air freshener on the vent thing...! If you just put one {or more if you want} on the RETURN AIR VENT rather than one on every single vent, girlfran... that scent will blow out ALLLLL THE VENTS! 😉 And I had a cleaning lady several years ago who gave me another dusting tip! {I don't THINK you mentioned it but I could have missed it} ANYHOOZIE, after she cleaned the screens on my TVS, she would wipe over THOSE with a dryer sheet and they will also repel the dust! {the ceiling fans too} But I just LOVE hearing about these nifty little hacks that are so simple, yet so amazing! I watched a video the other day that was nothing but "ORIGINAL PINESOL" hacks! I can't remember who's video it was or I'd give her credit 🤔. Lol ok I'll shuddup now! #ADHD. Lol. Sorry for the novel! 📖 📚📒🤦🤷 LOL. Hope you have a super sparkly day sweetie. XO from TEXAS! 🤠 👑
i like this video😬
I dry my sink w a sponge that has 70% rubbing alcohol. Lol I’m OCD that way.
I vacuum my walls.
So Smart!!!
hand towl that is
I dry my sink. Thank you for all the ideas!!!! Do you know 8f you spray your plastic storage bowls with cooking spray before you put spaghetti sauce or tomatoes in it will prevent it from staining.
Never thought of that! Thanks for the tip!
@@TheDailyDIYer your welcome
I use a half lemon in a bowl of water to clean the microwave. Let the water boil, then let the bowl sit for a few minutes. Everything wipes out easily.
I bet that smells amazing!
I do too-water in a microwave safe bowl, water, little lemon juice and a little baking soda. About 4-5 minutes in the microwave and easy to wipe out. Can carefully pour the water mix into the drain as well to freshen the drain.
Me too! It works 100% I love it
I just use water and it works great.
I use 1 or 2 lemons, squeeze out the juice into a small bowl. Then I cut the pieces of lemon up, and also put them in the bowl. I then fill it with water almost to the rim. Put it on high for 5 to 7 minutes. Then I keep the bowl in the microwave for another 7 to 10 minutes. Then I wipe it up, and it is all clean and smells nice.
🙊 I've lived in my house 10 years and never pulled those screens off about my stove 😳didn't even know that was a thing
RE: Foam soap. Fill an empty foam-soap-bottle 1/4 or 1/3 with regular hand soap then add water. Carefully turn (not shake) the bottle a few times and let sit for a couple of hours. Done! I have been doing this for 10+ years.
The DT mop heads are just as good as the dusters, but we use the DT rake poles when mopping. They are heavier and don't bend easily.
I have never thought of that and that’s makes sense! I’m always bending the pole with that or my swifter, I guess I use to much force, lol
I re-use the bath and body foam pumps by filling it 1/3 hand soap in a scent that a I love and then 2/3 hot water and then mix.
people dry their sinks?
Ha! I don’t but my hubby does. I got marked off for it often in HomeEc in high school too.
🤔People don't??
The foaming hand soap you used is actually foaming hand sanitizer--not the same thing. Found out the hard way when I couldn't figure out why it wasn't washing my hands well. LOL.
I used a Swiffer duster to dust my walls, but your hack is much less expensive. I tried it today and the DT microfiber works better and lasts longer than a Swiffer pad!
Great video! I love using those fluffy dusters from Dollar Tree with the handle attached. Great on air vents, tops of curtain rods, windows, walls (Great idea!), ceiling fans, etc and it saves my back and knees! Side note...I love that moon head! Did you make it? Thanks!
I love those too! The moon I picked up at a vendor fair, but looks like anyone could make it!
I use the Dollar Tree paint brushes to dust my succulents.
What a great idea! I need to use that one
good for knick-knack dusting, if not too dusty.
I thought you missed a spot when you were cleaning your wall but my phone was just dirty. 😂🤣
I use a wet wash cloth under my cutting board so it don't move around, works out great!😁 I dry out my sink after cleaning, sometimes I let it air dry if I'm in a hurry! I do dust my walls when I deep clean, about, every 2 months! I live the hack of holding the toilet brush underneath the toilet lid, genius!😁 Great hack to clean our make up & paint brushes! As always Shannon, thank you for sharing all of your hacks w/ us! Stay safe, healthy and positive! God bless you and your family!🙏❤️🇺🇸😊
In your 💵🌲 foaming handsoap you can also use your eucalyptus and lemon essential oil’s for added immune support
Great idea!
I like the tip about using the white soft duster to dust the walls. I'm going to try that one, because my walls can use a good dusting. Thanks!
I have textured walls I'm going to try the duster idea.
Great hacks Shannon (as always)! Sometimes I dry my sinks but mostly they air dry! 😁Thanks for sharing these great hacks. See you next time. God Bless. ❤
Thank Susie!
How well does the silicone hold up to washing the rug? I have I want to try this on but I do throw it in the wash from time to time
Great tips. Love the car freshener’s new uses. Never to old or to late to learn something new🥰❤️
Love your voice and you have great ideas. Thanks for sharing.
Dryer sheets also work great for wiping baseboards!
Hi Shannon! Those are some great ideas! Right on! But what I mainly wanted to say is. I absolutely love that “moon man” round moon in you bedroom. I think it’s in your bedroom. Anyway, it’s the round face plaque thingy. It’s so cool! Where did you get that? I love it! I’ve gotta see if I can recreate that. Okay, thanks my dear. See ya next time!
❤️💜💚
I love the moon as well.
I love the moon also. I always take pictures of it, on the beach if possible. It can be romantic if you're lucky enough to have the right man.
Thanks for the tips. When it comes to cleaning any tip to get it done easier and faster, I'm definitely using
Love the push lights, I place them under my kitchen and bathroom sinks
Hi Shannon, looking forward to this installment of Daily DIYer. Love your channel, hope all your family is well. Thank you for another inspirational video.
Thank you so much!
I agree! Love your videos! I got hooked on you some time ago when I saw you making things with wood. I think you were redoing a room & you were using some kind of saw, lol! You are SO inspirational!! ❤
Really great hacks Shannon! I do dust my walls the hard way but after seeing your idea I'm going to do that from now on. That is really helpful!
Yay! Anything to save us time and work!
Omg! The car freshener one! I'm going to get some!
I use a couch/sofa cover I purchased from Amazon to keep it looking nice and prevent stains from my children and pets. It will also prolong the use of the sofa.
Thank you Jackie, great devotional this morning love starting my day with you and Jesus and a cuppa coffee!!
Hope you got your package girl! Hope you have a wonderful weekend…🙏💕 Sent your way every day… :-)
My fav tip??? The squeegee on furniture! So many great tips! Thanks Shannon!!
Wow Shannon great tips. Did you make the Large man in the moon on your table? Did I miss one of your great videos???
I found him at a vendor fair but I'm sure it would be easy to recreate!
I dust my walls with the dollar tree “swiffer” as well!
Happy Thursday super star lady! That was so exciting but you are very talented. I have use them to dust the wall. I have to try the squeegee trick. Thank you for sharing these amazing hacks that I will be doing. Have a blessed week.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love all your ideas!! Where did you get your pumpkin that is next to your basket?! I’ve been looking for it.
Hi Shannon, Love all your hacks as always. I use a window squeegee on carpets before hoovering, as it helps gets all our long hair up so doesn’t clog hoover. ❤️♥️
I do dust my walls and ceilings
I dry my sink after I’ve used it then cleaned it. I live in Florida and there’s no shortage of humidity here. So to combat mold or mildew I dry EVERYTHING including the shower walls and bathtub. I DON’T enjoy the task, I HAVE to do it. I also use pad with broomstick to scrub the tile in my bathroom. I also use it for my walls; Bugs and cobwebs removal. I use the push lights in my closet and pantry. Tfs sweetie. Have a great weekend.🤗
suggest squeegee shower walls, then dry using D Tree "swiffer" white, fluffy pad on a handle. dry pad.
These hacks are amazing! The scented air spray made with witch hazel? Who knew?!?!
Is Blissy at the Dollar Tree 🤔
Girly these are all awesome hacks and ideas, some i never thought of Lol, and so glad you are feeling better tfs. Big Thumbs Up 👍🥰🙏
Those filters in your
kitchen vent also hold oders. So it is good to clean them often.
This video is great to motivate me to clean my house more! Also, good ways to clean economically!
For the foam soap lovers: buy normal liquid hand soap to refill. Ratio: 1/3 hand soap, 1/3 water, 1/3 air(empty container) 🫧 voila!
Fantastic hacks and tricks! I am at least 3rd generation of sink-dryers! I dust my walls a lot and scrub them at least once a year😉
WOW! These are Great Tips! I especially liked and kind of laughed at the mouthwash in the toilet! It makes sense. If You can find a teeth whitening one it may help more. I don’t know but We have exceptionally hard water so I may try that one. Thank You again, for sharing Your amazing tips. I use to work for a Professional House Cleaning business and dusting the ceiling, corners and walls; We were made to clean. It is great! The floor cleaners work for dusting ceiling fans also.
A word of caution on replacing BBW (Bath & Body Works) soap with Dollar tree soap- please don't if its for guests that might be or are allergic to synthetic fragrance, like i am. I can usually use BBW products, but dollar tree or another brand might break me out in itchy hives for several days. Plant based are ok for me too. Please try to keep items for others in their original packaging, especially if you know they have allergies. This way we know if we should use it or not.
Love that moon decor.
Thank you for another wonderful video. I appreciate your ideas and hacks. You answered a few questions I thought about over the past week, especially an easier way to drip dry the brush after cleaning the toilet and using a body scrub to help wash of makeup and other brushes. I look forward to putting these hacks to use in my house. Thank you again!
I've also been renovating my home built in 1913
Dollar tree products have been such a great help
You have the best hacks!!
Thanks!
I use the duster at work. I work in housekeeping at a local casino and hotel. It works awesome for the baseboards and headboards!
You can also put a kitchen towel under your cutting board. It's what restaurant chefs do.
Another foaming soap hack, you can use 1/2 regular hand soap & 1/2 water and tie will foam up just like the foaming soap
Ty Shannon!
Sink air dries, salt is really good to get rid of onion spells off cutting boards and hands. Excellent
Very cool hacks. I like several of them.
I mix hot water with downy scent beads or any brand really...really easy and inexpensive
Excellent ideas…can’t wait to visit my Dollar Tree!!😊
Yes!! I clean my walls and baseboards frequently
Fantastic hacks. One of my favorites add a few pennies or crushed aspirin to fresh flowers and they'll last longer.
I’ll have to try that! Thanks Mrs Alma!!
@@TheDailyDIYer you're welcome Shannon.
@@MrsAlmaTrumble a little 7 up or ginger ale also helps. Idk why but only clear sodas
Lord yes, my walls and my ceiling fans need.dusted every 2 days.
Your hack videos are my faves! Well, besides your crafting videos. And your room transformations. I love all your videos Shannon!
You’re so sweet! Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
What happens when u want to wash your rug with that caulk on it???
Hand wash?
They have a stretchy foam mat that you can put under rugs to stop them sliding. They don't cost much. You can also put them in your drawers underneath your little bins that hold stuff so they don't slide around. Doesn't harm floors. I cut strips & put them around the underside perimeter of an area rug.
Thanks for sharing 👍 😊 😀
Thanks for watching!
Use a pumice stone for the water line in your toilet
Great tip! Thanks!
Love the puck light i have a corner sink and this was a game changer
Love those ideas Shannon
It’s CaULK you have to pronounce the U lol
Thank you for link on microwave pad.
Yaaay Shannon..I love watching your videos
I appreciate you watching!
I put grocery paper bags in the bottom of the garbage can
Blissy ad then commercials....grrr
Love the microwave mat. I have one and use it all the time.
Went to Blissy and there is only 15% off, thought it was 30%off…
? I thought I should check with you… fyi…
It may have changed since this video was posted a few months ago
Another idea for the garbage can bottom is a sheet of wax paper or parchment paper. That way it doesn't just seep through as it will with a paper towel.
That's a great idea!
You can press a plastic sack from the grocery store into the bottom of your trash can and if your trash bag leaks then you can just throw it away and put another one in
Where is the link for Blissy 30% off?
I have 11 grandkids who can't hit my open trash can, I put Dollar Tree shelf liner on the wall behind my trrash can. It makes for easy wall clean up. Great video as always
That is awesome!
These are really good hacks thanks🤩
Odd question, what trash can is that?
Would like to see tomato cage ghost ??
I already had a puck light and didn't think about putting it under a deep kitchen cabinet. Thanks for the tip! No more flashlight.
Shannon you are one of my favorite craft/home/dt/ diy er’s For obvious reasons. I am however, an esthetician and I have to say you are looking more and more beautiful in each video. If I notice something like this I believe it is always a good thing to honesty share it. ❤️
We always dry our sink.
I also do the soap idea as its cheaper
Great Hacks Shannon!! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for watching!
Wow so many tips love this videos..thank you 👌👌👌👌💗💗💗💗🙋🏻♀️🌻
I do try to make sure my sink is dry
If you don't want hair breakage don't put your hair in a scrunch or anything. That's what causes breakage especially while you sleep.
Last week I had to fix the bottom of the cabinet under my kitchen sink and instead of a battery puck light, I put a motion detection light, because I will often forget to press the light off.
Great video! Great ideas! Yes, i do dust my walls before I wash them with Spic N Span. Wonderful stuff, and no need to rinse! I use DT's Pine-Glo cleaner (compare to Pine Sol) It comes in a huge bottle! A little goes a long way. I leave it it in the bowl for about 15 minutes, swish it around, and flush. Bathroom smells clean and fresh!
Will you please research how toxic dryer sheets are to touch and breath in. Not just looking up dryer sheets but research each ingredient, they are very toxic.
ty u for puck light idea for my pantry as I've been using flashlight lol
Hi Shannon what great ideas 👍 TFS have a wonderful weekend 🐝 safe and God Bless you and your family.
Hi Shannon! Love all your tips! Do you know if the caulk on the throw rug will wash off in the washing machine?
Dry it out, not sure why
