I love these kinds of videos! BTW... My hubby has done HVAC for over 30 years and he actually gave me a tip on that whole air freshener on the vent thing...! If you just put one {or more if you want} on the RETURN AIR VENT rather than one on every single vent, girlfran... that scent will blow out ALLLLL THE VENTS! 😉 And I had a cleaning lady several years ago who gave me another dusting tip! {I don't THINK you mentioned it but I could have missed it} ANYHOOZIE, after she cleaned the screens on my TVS, she would wipe over THOSE with a dryer sheet and they will also repel the dust! {the ceiling fans too} But I just LOVE hearing about these nifty little hacks that are so simple, yet so amazing! I watched a video the other day that was nothing but "ORIGINAL PINESOL" hacks! I can't remember who's video it was or I'd give her credit 🤔. Lol ok I'll shuddup now! #ADHD. Lol. Sorry for the novel! 📖 📚📒🤦🤷 LOL. Hope you have a super sparkly day sweetie. XO from TEXAS! 🤠 👑
I use a half lemon in a bowl of water to clean the microwave. Let the water boil, then let the bowl sit for a few minutes. Everything wipes out easily.
I do too-water in a microwave safe bowl, water, little lemon juice and a little baking soda. About 4-5 minutes in the microwave and easy to wipe out. Can carefully pour the water mix into the drain as well to freshen the drain.
I use 1 or 2 lemons, squeeze out the juice into a small bowl. Then I cut the pieces of lemon up, and also put them in the bowl. I then fill it with water almost to the rim. Put it on high for 5 to 7 minutes. Then I keep the bowl in the microwave for another 7 to 10 minutes. Then I wipe it up, and it is all clean and smells nice.
I really enjoy your videos and am a subscriber. You have many good ideas to share. With the drier sheets, they work well cleaning bugs of cars. Get a bucket with soapy water and submerge a drier sheet. Do not squeeze the water out and begin wiping away bug residue. Another hack for the drier sheets is if wanting to be outside and it's buggy, take a dry drier sheet and wipe it over exposed arms, legs, neck, feet (be careful not rub over eyes). This may not keep every single bug away, but it does help. Thank you, Shannon, for inspiring us all who watch your videos.
RE: Foam soap. Fill an empty foam-soap-bottle 1/4 or 1/3 with regular hand soap then add water. Carefully turn (not shake) the bottle a few times and let sit for a couple of hours. Done! I have been doing this for 10+ years.
I use a wet wash cloth under my cutting board so it don't move around, works out great!😁 I dry out my sink after cleaning, sometimes I let it air dry if I'm in a hurry! I do dust my walls when I deep clean, about, every 2 months! I live the hack of holding the toilet brush underneath the toilet lid, genius!😁 Great hack to clean our make up & paint brushes! As always Shannon, thank you for sharing all of your hacks w/ us! Stay safe, healthy and positive! God bless you and your family!🙏❤️🇺🇸😊
I dry my sink. Thank you for all the ideas!!!! Do you know 8f you spray your plastic storage bowls with cooking spray before you put spaghetti sauce or tomatoes in it will prevent it from staining.
I used a Swiffer duster to dust my walls, but your hack is much less expensive. I tried it today and the DT microfiber works better and lasts longer than a Swiffer pad!
I dry my sink after I’ve used it then cleaned it. I live in Florida and there’s no shortage of humidity here. So to combat mold or mildew I dry EVERYTHING including the shower walls and bathtub. I DON’T enjoy the task, I HAVE to do it. I also use pad with broomstick to scrub the tile in my bathroom. I also use it for my walls; Bugs and cobwebs removal. I use the push lights in my closet and pantry. Tfs sweetie. Have a great weekend.🤗
Great video! I love using those fluffy dusters from Dollar Tree with the handle attached. Great on air vents, tops of curtain rods, windows, walls (Great idea!), ceiling fans, etc and it saves my back and knees! Side note...I love that moon head! Did you make it? Thanks!
I have 11 grandkids who can't hit my open trash can, I put Dollar Tree shelf liner on the wall behind my trrash can. It makes for easy wall clean up. Great video as always
Thank you Jackie, great devotional this morning love starting my day with you and Jesus and a cuppa coffee!! Hope you got your package girl! Hope you have a wonderful weekend…🙏💕 Sent your way every day… :-)
Great hacks Shannon (as always)! Sometimes I dry my sinks but mostly they air dry! 😁Thanks for sharing these great hacks. See you next time. God Bless. ❤
Thank you for another wonderful video. I appreciate your ideas and hacks. You answered a few questions I thought about over the past week, especially an easier way to drip dry the brush after cleaning the toilet and using a body scrub to help wash of makeup and other brushes. I look forward to putting these hacks to use in my house. Thank you again!
I use a couch/sofa cover I purchased from Amazon to keep it looking nice and prevent stains from my children and pets. It will also prolong the use of the sofa.
Great video! Great ideas! Yes, i do dust my walls before I wash them with Spic N Span. Wonderful stuff, and no need to rinse! I use DT's Pine-Glo cleaner (compare to Pine Sol) It comes in a huge bottle! A little goes a long way. I leave it it in the bowl for about 15 minutes, swish it around, and flush. Bathroom smells clean and fresh!
Hi Shannon, looking forward to this installment of Daily DIYer. Love your channel, hope all your family is well. Thank you for another inspirational video.
I agree! Love your videos! I got hooked on you some time ago when I saw you making things with wood. I think you were redoing a room & you were using some kind of saw, lol! You are SO inspirational!! ❤
WOW! These are Great Tips! I especially liked and kind of laughed at the mouthwash in the toilet! It makes sense. If You can find a teeth whitening one it may help more. I don’t know but We have exceptionally hard water so I may try that one. Thank You again, for sharing Your amazing tips. I use to work for a Professional House Cleaning business and dusting the ceiling, corners and walls; We were made to clean. It is great! The floor cleaners work for dusting ceiling fans also.
Shannon you are one of my favorite craft/home/dt/ diy er’s For obvious reasons. I am however, an esthetician and I have to say you are looking more and more beautiful in each video. If I notice something like this I believe it is always a good thing to honesty share it. ❤️
Great idea to use the facial scrubber as a makeup brush cleaner! I also love that you used an empty 5-gallon water jug as a plant holder...way to repurpose.
The foaming hand soap you used is actually foaming hand sanitizer--not the same thing. Found out the hard way when I couldn't figure out why it wasn't washing my hands well. LOL.
Hi Shannon! Those are some great ideas! Right on! But what I mainly wanted to say is. I absolutely love that “moon man” round moon in you bedroom. I think it’s in your bedroom. Anyway, it’s the round face plaque thingy. It’s so cool! Where did you get that? I love it! I’ve gotta see if I can recreate that. Okay, thanks my dear. See ya next time! ❤️💜💚
Happy Thursday super star lady! That was so exciting but you are very talented. I have use them to dust the wall. I have to try the squeegee trick. Thank you for sharing these amazing hacks that I will be doing. Have a blessed week.
Hi Shannon, Love all your hacks as always. I use a window squeegee on carpets before hoovering, as it helps gets all our long hair up so doesn’t clog hoover. ❤️♥️
Shannon I love your channel and have been watching you for years. Thanks for the great tips and I saw your clip on the local news! Congrats and you were great!
I often use a denture cleaner tablet or two to clean the toilet. I drop them into the toilet while I'm showering. I also use a denture cleaner to clean the metal carafe that goes with my coffee maker. I drop a tablet into the carafe and fill it with hot water. Both of these hacks work well for me.
Another idea for the garbage can bottom is a sheet of wax paper or parchment paper. That way it doesn't just seep through as it will with a paper towel.
You can press a plastic sack from the grocery store into the bottom of your trash can and if your trash bag leaks then you can just throw it away and put another one in
#THEDAILYDIYER I really like some of the hacks that you have shared in this video. I just wanted to mention that the "BLISSY PILLOW CASES" are great, I don't have a problem with them. However they are a bit too pricey for a lot of people. So I thought that I could give the people who can not afford the more expensive items. For all of the people who have a "ROSESVREPARTMENT STORE" near them , can buy the pillowcases for a whole lot cheaper prices. If I remember correctly they sell for between $3.00 - $5.00. A word of caution on replacing BBW (Bath & Body Works) soap with Dollar tree soap- please don't if its for guests that might be or are allergic to synthetic fragrance, like i am. I can usually use BBW products, but dollar tree or another brand might break me out in itchy hives for several days. Plant based are ok for me too. Please try to keep items for others in their original packaging, especially if you know they have allergies. This way we know if we should use it or not.

The DT mop heads are just as good as the dusters, but we use the DT rake poles when mopping. They are heavier and don't bend easily.
I have never thought of that and that’s makes sense! I’m always bending the pole with that or my swifter, I guess I use to much force, lol
Love that moon decor.
Excellent ideas…can’t wait to visit my Dollar Tree!!😊
Love your voice and you have great ideas. Thanks for sharing.
My fav tip??? The squeegee on furniture! So many great tips! Thanks Shannon!!
Sink air dries, salt is really good to get rid of onion spells off cutting boards and hands. Excellent
Love the puck light i have a corner sink and this was a game changer
I use the duster at work. I work in housekeeping at a local casino and hotel. It works awesome for the baseboards and headboards!
I've also been renovating my home built in 1913

Love the push lights, I place them under my kitchen and bathroom sinks

Fantastic hacks and tricks! I am at least 3rd generation of sink-dryers! I dust my walls a lot and scrub them at least once a year😉
Great tips. Love the car freshener’s new uses. Never to old or to late to learn something new🥰❤️
I like the tip about using the white soft duster to dust the walls. I'm going to try that one, because my walls can use a good dusting. Thanks!
I have textured walls I'm going to try the duster idea.

I use the Dollar Tree paint brushes to dust my succulents.
What a great idea! I need to use that one
good for knick-knack dusting, if not too dusty.
Fantastic hacks. One of my favorites add a few pennies or crushed aspirin to fresh flowers and they'll last longer.
I’ll have to try that! Thanks Mrs Alma!!
