It would help to explain the rules and moves, so they know more about what they are watching, what scores points, etc.

Interesting that there's a Pakistani wrestling that's similar. Sumo wrestlers eat as much as they can to get that big. The lighter ones may have been younger, because it takes several years for them to make a top weight to be really effective. Yet look how quick they can be! They are highly respected in Japan.

Size doesn't matter as much in sumo technique and timing are what's important it's why you see guys easily defeat people that are three times their size without much struggle

The origin of sumo wrestling is a power contest between Jacob and an angel in the Old Testament. The culture of ancient Israel was handed down to Japan!

it's a sad choice of video to show sumo. Would have been more interesting for them to see the rituals at the beginning and at the end rather than just slams. They seem to always appreciate learning about other cultures and this video offered very little.

My wife took us to a 5 star Michelin restaurant. My roast beef was a was a warm cold cut slice with cute zigzags and dots of sauce. I was not happy. I got Burger King on the way out of the city. She's now my ex.

Sumo wrestlers have a life expectancy twenty years less than the average Japanese person. Definitely not in the "healthy activity" category!
