  • We asked 10 rikishi to test the strength of their grip by using a dynamometer. This was originally distributed in December, 2020 by the Japanese language RUclips team which means the contestants include a couple of great former Yokozuna: Hakuho and Kakuryu! Were they able to show that they don’t take a backseat to anyone in this unique contest too? Find out who has the strongest grip in sumo!

Konnichiwa and thanks again for watching SUMO PRIME TIME. The next grand tournament begins exactly a month away from today and I know everyone can't wait and neither can I. But we will keep you posted by bringing intriguing contents and this one is no exception.
This time, we asked 10 rikishi to test the strength of their hand grip by using a dynamometer. This was originally distributed in December, 2020 by the Japanese language RUclips team which means the contestants include a couple of great former Yokozuna: Hakuho and Kakuryu! Were they able to show that they don’t take a backseat to anyone in this unique contest too? Find out who has the strongest grip in sumo by watching this fun show. Oh, by the way, thank you for sending me comments about the previous show which was about revealing the secrets of rikishi's topknot. Tell you the truth, I didn't know they actually shaved the top of the head in order to keep the topknot in neat shape. I guess you learn something new every day. Anyway, we hope you enjoy this video and again, please send us your comments and suggestions because we always love hearing from you. Arigato!!
