you missed way too many points on here buddy. for starters, we’re not mad at an african born player playing on team usa, look at hakeem olajuwon for example, but embiid literally got FREE and EASY FRENCH citizenship because he PROMISED to the french president he’d be playing for them and then ultimately decided not too. regular ppl don’t get that privilege. second of all, he’s a undoubtedly a top 5 player, but he’s never made a conference finals, despite being on a championship contender the majority of his career. and after losing game 7 vs boston two seasons ago, he and james harden played the worst but he blamed his other teammates for it. and now while being on team usa, it looks like he’s purposely trying to destroy the chemistry between him and lebron and also him and jt, trying to make stupid headlines just so ppl can talk about him. ppl who really love the game won’t give him a pass just because he’s talented, no man deserves that and that’s a terrible way to look at things…
He blames his teammates for losses, has never made a conference finals even though he plays in the east and has been a contender forever. He won MVP over Jokic last year merely because he complained and the narrative became that if Embiid didn't win it would be a product of "racism". He is talking sh** about Lebron for no reason while in the Olympics, playing for the USA when he promised he would play in France (hence why he got an expedited citizenship), etc. Embiid is hated for good reason lol let him actually accomplish something in the playoffs for once in his career before we start dialing back the criticism smh Not to mention he is the most egregious flopper in NBA history. It's not about "Why would he not get to the line if he could?" He averages more FTA's than PRIME SHAQ - they used to INTENTIALLY foul Shaq every possession possible because he sucked at free throws, and it was basically the defensive gameplan against Shaq. Embiid flops so much that he somehow has usurped Shaq's absurd FTA numbers. Like you said, he is also very dirty and is a bad sportsman. There's no reason to stop criticizing him.
