I just saw the film ... Blew me away . Haunting . Genuine. I see about 50 films a year with my best buddy . "Manchester by the Sea" is the Best film of the year in my estimation . I see multiple Oscar nominations coming . Best Director , writer , male lead, supporting actor Best Film Casey Affleck should be very proud of his work here . A Masterpiece
This movie was one of the best movies I have ever seen in regards to being realistic in every aspect. The music score was also perfect. I actually bought the music score from the movie and love listening to it a lot. Well done by all.
i loved the relationship on screen between casey & lucas. so true, such great chemistry. it was one of my favorite aspects of the film, and some of that comes through here.
11:33 onwards is brilliant. I love Caseys kind of humor. Also liked the interviewer and his questions and really donˋt understand some peoples comments here...
I just saw the movie ...It's a masterpiece...Lots of love from India.Casey's Humour is totally opposite to what i saw in the movie. Casey and Kenneth has done a remarkable job.
I wish interviewers would realize that creative types (writers, musicians, directors, actors) respond better to brief, open-ended questions; the type of questions that allow them to open up and reveal things. Instead we get this interviewer's questions, the typical ones we hear: long-winded, meaningless, with vague phrases like "find your voice", "make it your own" and, my favorite, "Was there any sort of trepidation when you realized you had to occupy his headspace?" These phrases are confusing to a person who is trying to be revealing and informative. Just ask Affleck, "What did you think of the character the first time you read the script?" That's all you need to say. And then shut up and let the creative person work with that.
Wow! A pleasure to hear Casey and the "rapport" with Lucas was evident. Kenneth feels like a person with a range of writing and aptitude for pain filled moments to me. Can't wait to watch his other movies. The movie was poignant in a stoic way. It asks one to keep on the edge of their seats as many times emotions boil over for Lee while trying to drown his guilt in Alcohol. The concoction of sarcasm and anger where grief lurked just beneath the surface was moving. The final scene takes the breath away and Michelle wants you to want more from that scene however Lee don't have much left in him. I watched it one time before but watching it yesterday again hit really hard. The least to say would be it was hard to sleep for some time after that.
mat damon was the actor of similar Past tragedy movie like casey had in this movie it seems that drama explodes when there is a past tragedy always .that is the essence of the good drama
Loved this movie. Love the relationship between Casey and Lucas's character. Michele Williams is always great. I can't figure out if Casey is having fun or is being difficult in this interview.
Great interview, really fantastic, non-cliché, questions and interesting answers! Casey Affleck's attitude see a bit blasé and his sense of humour slightly forced (maybe he was just tired of the' promotional dance'. His performance in the film, however, is exceptional; very raw and moving.
no, imitating him was Casey's way of saying he's imppressed and that he's trying to learn from him. He's introverted and that's his way of showing effection.

Great job by the host asking the right questions. That’s so hard to do right.
I loved this movie for so many different reasons.
I just saw this film. Brilliant actors. I dont even mind about my new eye bags. Kisses from Greece. Keep making good movies
Its the most fun Casey I have ever seen I guess.
Nope. Watch the interview on Triple 9, for example. Or one with director Scott ... about 'Out of the furnace'. :)

The way Casey’s sitting is really attractive. Beautiful man, look at that perfect nose. And those hands...
O want him so bad
Not them picking on Lucas 😂 I saw the movie an hour ago. Great performance and writing.
It isn't Rhode Island. It is Northeast of Boston. Casey is amazing in this movie.

Casey Affleck is a nightmare for a interviewer. But he was awesome in this movie. Lukas was brilliant as a young actor.
"The people of Rhode Island are really lovely, and I don't know why you say that." :p haha!
Rather they talk more about their characters how they portray them and the story than joking around
I think you have a stick inserted somewhere
manchester by-the-sea
the land where it doesn't matter, on the other side of the Atlantic
crash course in economics
Why is the interviewer shouting ......great movie and actors but my ears have blown out pfft !

That poor kid got railed by them!

Absolutely!
lol cold acting.
Kenneth doesn't want to deal with this obnoxious host.
that kid really dropped the ball a couple times
Victorious V.I.C how?
casey needs subtitles at all times
talks all garbled
how is this guy an actor ????
did you understand him in the movie...? That's how he's an actor. And a pretty damm mind blowing one in fact.
