    Way to go ladies! So proud of you for all your accomplishments and always trying to stay positive even when it’s tough! I said I would try to help you with wildflowers when you show them. White Trillium (three petals with white bloom in the center and dwarf iris( iris cristata) the little purple bloom and tiny straight blades. Love seeing Ellie in your closings each day! Love and light back to you too!

    Little Bear 🐻 is getting more comfortable talking on camera. Ellie is becoming a staple in your videos. I find myself anticipating her appearance. You guys are killing it. Once you get to the smoother terrain of virginia and get your trail legs, your miles will increase. Keep up the good work.

    Good morning, Mama Bear and Little Bear. So sad to leave family. Maybe they took off first so you couldn't decide to go back home with them. Your family closeness is so neat. And that the closeness contnues with such distances between you is especially neat. I've heard lots of hikers comment on how hard the climb is out of the NOC. The scenery today was absolutely awesome. WOW. I was impressed. It's interesting that each hiker you follow shows you different things. Some things you see often but from different perspectives. Great to see Ellie again. Missed her over the weekend. Ya'll are doing so well, especially on the rough days. I love hearing the character builders and the highs at the end of each day. Thanks for sharing those. Ya'll hang in there. Take care of each other. Stay safe. See you tomorrow.

    Everytime anyone asks me what the most challenging part of trail was for me, I say the climb out of the NOC. There were harder climbs, but I had my trail legs for those! I remember vividly sitting on a log with my head between my legs because I was sure I was going to pass out. Luckily a friend stopped by and hiked with me the rest of the day. Good job accomplishing a tough climb!

    • @wildflowersadventures
      @wildflowersadventures  6 месяцев назад +2

      That climb was difficult and made even more so by the hot temps and humidity. Plus, we were sad our family left that day, too. Either way, I have no interest in ever doing that climb ever again. 😂

    Hmm .. Type 3, eh? Worse than Albert?

      Thanks for your reply. I recommend you visit the himalayan mountains k2 and Nangaparbat view point Moses peak. Add these sound in your bucket list.
      When you guys want to come, be sure to get in touch. And make sure to enjoy this sound. The complete update about the journey and route of this mountain is fully written in the description of my video. You can watch it right there on my channel۔
      That's why I recommended Moses Pack to you. Because I myself have climbed this mountain many times every year with tourists. More than seven times. Because it goes up this mountain path from my village and I know these paths very well.

I just think the military that has family away for years at a time has to be one of the hardest things. I worked at a post office w/ a military base nearby. So many both husband & wife ate military & have 3-4 kids.

    fontana dam, that reminded me of our hike many years ago. started our hike there and walked up and passed shuckstake tower and beyond to camp on a backcountry trail. somehow we lost our scoutmaster and 3 of us walked back to the dam to find him. we found him sitting in the doorway to his motorhome where he spent the night. his knees couldn't take the hike and some day packers got him back down the mountain. end our trip short at clingmans dome that year. great memories, miss those hikes. it seems the trail has gotten almost too popular these last few decades. wasn't always like that.
