As much as I admire the idea of the constant hustle. For some based on a number of factors this is not achievable based on a variety of reasons. I know someone who hustled themself to an early grave at 47 and this made me realise there is more to work than just the hustle. This is just my own personal narrative. I do agree that whatever you do go all in but at least for me I need 4 per week training time outside of my job to keep me healthy, reflective and physically able to meet the demands of life and the hustle. I call it my coat of armour. This 4 hours protected time than enables me to function as a professional, father, husband and individual. I love these videos and it reminds me why i left my crappy job went bsck to uni worked my ass off and improved my life.
Don't you think those four hours are an investment for long term health, and also make you more productive while you work? Gary is talking about the long game.

Its my destress and alone time where i can reflect and think whether im in the gym or on the BJJ mat or working on my technique in Muay Thai all this is my enlighten period I find the next 3/5hrs after this time is when i dream and ideas develop. Ever that or first thing when I wake up.

Some people can work 50 hours per week or more, others need more time to relax. The important thing is knowing you did the best you could for your business, your loved ones and yourself. If I look back in 20 years, I want to know that I took every chance and made the most out of every second I devoted to work. I want to look back and tell myself: I didn't waste time on bullshit (like binge-watching Netflix for days and being a procrastinating bitch hahah).

I've been watching you Gary for alil while now an I don't have a business but I follow just to get motivated just about life in general I've been through a lot of struggle but I also can't help being drawn to that great feeling I get when people comment on my up dates of my health recovery an I've been very open about my journey an that's where the question of my life direction comes into play .. I have survived so much when I was so young an then to have my strength tested over my adult life , in a few drastic situations as recent as July 2015 I survived yet another I had a seizure an hit a tree going 50mph my mental emotional an physical limits were all pushed so severely then to find out the cause was a tumor in my brain November 2015 I had it removed an that was the hardest recovery of my life this far .May of this year I had to have radiation treatment because the tumor came back , i guess the tumor thought I had such a beautiful mind it didn't want to leave ...im sharing this because ,I'm having to start my life all over again an yes it's hard an it sucks but I know I have to win I read I listen to your RUclips others like Tony Robbins that's actually how I discovered you I write in my notebook till late in the night trying to figure out my strengths an where I should use them , there are so many things that I'm great at an I'm just having a hard time choosing something to pour myself into this all has been a growing experience an I am a very involved an devoted mother but now my children are adults starting there own families an that was what i poured myself into , but now I find myself alil lost trying to find a new passion , i know that there has to be reason for my spirit an strength to be tested ..i am the kind of woman that can't Handel defeat , an when I do fall I look at it as growth not a fail .i just wanted to say thank you for giving people the brutal honesty of how we should focus on doing things that make you feel good,great,and hungry for giving all of their self to their life , i think your awesome an I would love to get a chance to go to one of your talks .
