I think Black Road does this quite well too but with more of a progressive feel to their music. If you're a fan of Pentagram, Black Sabbath and Pink Floyd, they're the band you've been looking for. I saw them open for Pentagram a few years back and they absolutely blew them away.

I dont know if its because of the mix or not but vocals felt much stronger in records. Maybe its because they play songs faster but I definitely prefer stronger and louder vocals.
Yeah, The Oath was a completely different band. Johanna created and fronted both bands, but I don’t think any other members of The Oath followed her to Lucifer. I love both bands, although I do think The Oath was actually even better than Lucifer. I’m still so puzzled as to why The Oath broke up.
I watched a Turbonegro live at Rockaplast from 2005 and had to comment on lively their crown actually was with no irony because most of these German audiences seem to be completely subdued. Lol
