Shawn I didn’t see a game plan for a smaller opponent.. during warm ups Joe had Ryan swinging super high.. throwing his hook high.. everything high, and tank all night was able to easily get under that and counter!

I'm 200 beans and been boxing 15 years. Wouldn't want to get hit by Tank. The power and placement of his punches is real real.
I agree that little Tank hits like a welterweight and some average middleweights. And he has some of the best stats for accuracy with power punches. All lightweights are subject to being KO'd by that, but middleweights are bigger and on average can take more punishment due to their size, so the punches will tend to not affect them as much. It was not the wisest thing for Ryan to aggressively walk Tank down, knowing he is one of the top best counter punchers among today's boxers, and he can stop someone with one punch.
TANK DAVIS KNOCKS OUT AT LEAST 90% OF HIS OPPONENTS .. I'D SAY HIS POWER IS LEGIT ..

Good analysis by Porter, but Ryan's trainer said before the fight that Ryan was not allowing himself to be coached. Ryan went off training most of the time on his own. How foolish is that. It's not his coach's fault in this case.

I disagree. I think tanks power can carry to any weight class. If a heavy weight gets hit flush by tank, they're out lights out. The head is the same size, we're all humans. Its quite easy to realize he can knock any fighter out when you have that kind of power.

I think Davis wins without hydration clause. Unfortunately, the hydration clause along with using information about Garcia’s stoppage to the body in sparring taints the win. Wouldn’t go as far to say it delegitimizes the win though. Would love to see a sequel with no hydration clause. The excitement behind this fight was crazy!!!
A sides been using hydration clauses long before Tank. Ryan agreed to it and they both had to do it. No taint at all.
Nobody cares about that. Do you remember all of the stipulations Oscar demanded when he fought Floyd? Most people don't, and those who do don't care. I never heard of Ryan before the fight so I went and watched his old fights. He had no business being in the ring with Tank and I told my friends I hope he doesn't get seriously hurt. Ryan needs to get his footwork together or retire because he's not beating any elite fighter past 140.
@@thescribe3184 Ryan is only as popular as he is cuz he's a good looking kid and has a huge social media following. He's not quite Jake Paul levels of disgrace to the sport, I mean he has boxed since he was 7, but boxing definitely isn't his primary goal in life.

After he dropped you he backed you down until about 50 seconds left in the round and y’all wrestled and when y’all had exchanges ending the round he got the beat of it. 😂 all love though just keeping it real.

Tank made Garcia one-dimensional... you could see after the knockdown he had figured something out. Haney fights long like Garcia, but unlike Garcia stays long.... and he has waaaaay better defense. Tank vs Haney would be a chessmatch. Tank being a southpaw could be a difference maker. We'll see how Haney handles Loma..

The thing with tank is his KO shots are deceptive. His ability will be greatly affected at 147-154 there’s no chance he will be half the fighter he is at 135 at 147-154 let alone 160 😂
Ryan should have used straight right way more . He looked like a fighter with no guidance
Kahn had decent defense and really solid footwork, he just had a chin made of paper mache. No matter how good your defense, you going to get hit. Every top level fighter needs to be able to take a shot.
@Lions Truth disagree. Can’t have amateur success with no skills because of the scoring. Khan beat some really good fighters. But when he didn’t have the chin to be a real player at the elite level
@Lions Truth disagree. He did work in the pros too. A scrub isn’t beating Devon Alexander, Maidana, Collazo, Judah and Algieri. He’s not elite in his fundamentals or footwork but you being facetious, exaggerating or just a flat out hater to say someone that’s done everything Khan has is “HORRIBLE”. Dude can box pretty good but has no chin.
Teddy Atas did a good breakdown on giving only 10-9 to Tank. He did not like the 10-10, but said he wasn't going crazy over it. But after watching the Porter Broner 12th round, it was definitely 10-8 Broner. Broner maybe even wins that round without the knockdown.

Only 10-9 for the knock down is obviously wrong. Tank was only hit a few times in that round. You don't give a 10-9 because you landed more punches. But you give it because 10-9 or 10-10 because the fighter was almost knocked down standing.
@Lions Truth Actually ryan didn't land much in the 2nd didn't u see how many missed punches there were. Even if there were punches landed it was in a clinch. I dont see how even Tank got hurt. The best that could be said Ryan was winning the round thats all. Normally if you just win a round it still is a 10-8. It has always been like that.

Definetely a hard puncher. It is something abnormal - I am not so sure anymore - Hector Garcia and some other guys took some shots from him. It is more about the skills to time the shot. I don't think him or Wilder punch twice as hard than a usual heavy handed puncher in their division. But they can place the shot at just the right time. Canelo could barely move Bivol but broke Saunders face with a single punch.
