Most children are not morally trained in boarding houses

This is not true. I went to boarding school and the training I received there was morally superior to the spoiling my parents subjected me to. I will always be grateful to my boarding school for shaping me into the person I am today.

Boarding houses separate children from bonding with parents. 60 is not old, not to be strong

Not only Boarding school but also private school. I personally knew a private school that is big and well known in part of Lagos that the owner is nothing but evil. Most children destiny was long gone. To you parents living abroad be very careful who you trust your children with. Evil is befallen more and more families both abroad and home. Just a thought.

Yes boarding school is not necessary. Especially the primary school and Junior High. The Senior High School is reasonable but younger than that is a no. I met highly intelligent & disciplined people that didn’t go to boarding school at all or went just for Senior High.
That independence that people talk about, there’s a level of independence that children should have at every stage and being in a day school doesn’t stop that, they still get to wash & iron their uniforms after school or during the weekends, study & do a little house chores. Which is right for that age.
