This would actually be the sickest writing prompt. Word is that the missing people and recent drugs influx around the city are from this hidden nightclub that only makes itself appear at night. The last detective who tried to get inside was flayed beyond recognition, and his body has never been recovered. His built-in microphone in his shirt detailed the most disturbing and frightening of places. Everyone inside had red eyes, and the most pale of skin. The team chosen to handle this case had figured out the music being played in the club influenced the people's thoughts and actions, with a recorded sample being shown here from a mic placed near one of the speakers. Your job is to get into the club, and find out what is going on. You just got past the bouncer, a sinister, tall and pale man with jet-black hair, he didn't look strong, but still inflicted utter fear deep inside you. The red eye contacts seemed to have worked, and the latest in face cybernetics guaranteed you a vampiric look. The only thing not saving your ass now is how to act like everyone else. Hazing, red glows from the dim lights fought any shadow of darkness that flooded the inside. You try to not arouse suspicion, and rush to the bathroom, the wire inside your shirt is holding up well. Suddenly, two sadistic clubbers throw themselves through the door, biting at each others necks amidst rushed kissing and snorting a strange, purple substance into their noses. You play it cool and check your hair and clothes, and make it back outside to start your task.
Vampires in 1800s: shows up at window, mind controls you, enters your house, sucks your blood. Vampires in 2000s: throws awesome party, waits till you show up, takes your cover fee, sucks your blood. BYOB.

Plus in general humans carry less blood than before, and it is probably harder to procure due to them being more powerful. Last thing, some of them may spot vampires really easy with their augmented infrared or thermo vision, what do you think they'll do if they realize there's vampires preying on humans? Probably gang up on them during daytime... In my opinion the "future" is a bad place to be for a vampire
@@sunflowerguy3264 yeah good points your right but I am thinking more along the lines that the cyborg augmented vampires would not necessarily replace their flesh but integrate some artificial components into their body to enhance abilities, computer assisted brains, built in weaponry or whatever but also eliminate some of the weakness. the vampires body could survive a way more aggressive surgery than a humans so they could have like maybe some kind of exo or endoskeleton thing you know to make their rib cage impenetrable... I don't know its actually sounding less cool the more I think about it
RUclips just recommended this to me and oh my god. This is so great! I always love scenes in movies where the protagonist(s) go into a club to talk to the manager or something. They push themselves through the sweating crowd that is dancing mindlessly to the beat, and reach the backdoor. While talking to the manager the music seems to shake the walls, but it's a lot quiter in there. Either through the conversation becoming more and more threatening or enemies arriving at the club and making their way to the back door, the music gets louder and louder and when the beat drops, the action begins. Faces are punched, kneecaps shot and arms dislocated. Meanwhile the crowd keeps on dancing, loosing all control. Fuck I love that man :D
