I don't know where you live in Stuart but I live near the downtown Publix and the noise is not that bad comparatively to bigger cities and I also have to hear the airplanes. So I don't get this one and like I said I live in the Bessie subdivision and unless you live like really really really really really close to the tracks the train horns are really not that bad. I don't know where you're hearing this but even those sound bounces off a couple big buildings near me I'm not bothered by the sounds of the trains The bright line itself is a completely different topic not the sound of the horns but the bright line but at least now we are getting a stop which is great. I've lived in the same house most of my life except for for 15 years when I lived up in Orlando I have more of a problem with the beeping and loud sounds of road work in the middle of the night but my house has single pain 1920s windows so if the horns were too much I would know most of the houses around here don't have single pane windows. As far as traffic yeah during rush hour where it bottlenecks between kanner highway and on US1 North over the bridge yeah that can suck but again comparatively it's not that bad. Anybody who's going to be moving here is probably coming here from a bigger city and I can promise you though the traffic can be a little annoying it is nowhere near as bad as Orlando or south of us! Anybody who moves from a bigger city is used to a heck of a lot more traffic and once you learn your way around you can figure out the back roads which make it much easier to get around. I just find the rule of thumb if possible stay away from US1 and the kanner highway Monterey light especially during rush hour. There are many other ways around. I have to get my kid at 6:00 everyday which means I have to leave my house in the middle of rush hour to get him and if you just learn different ways you can avoid all of it. The only time it becomes difficult is if you need to get to the north side of the bridge at that point at the 5:00 rush hour you may want to think about taking the small bridge. As far as the bright line at least it doesn't go on throughout the night and yeah it's really annoying since it cuts right through confusion corner and technically unless the law changed the other trains aren't supposed to even be honking at night but I love those sounds off in the distance like I love the sound of the train bridge alarm which kind of sounds like an imperial cruiser from Star wars going down.

Thanks for the feedback... Where I live and when I am in Jensen Beach, the small planes and that horn on the Brightline is most annoying. Yet, I completely agree that its relative to where you come from and what you are used to. Fair to say. I do agree with the honking too. There has been an increase with that.
