Brian May is severely underrated as a guitarist. He may not be the fastest or the most technical, but he always wrote the most fitting and perfect solo for that particular song. Never too much, never too little, just perfect.

I don't think Brian is underrated as a guitarist, he's highly respected and often cited as the greatest player ever. However, I don't think that most people understand the contributions he made to the band. Most people seem to think that Queen is just Freddie Mercury. It never has been. Brian wrote a large chunk of their songs; We Will Rock You, Hammer to Fall, Fat Bottomed Girls, Keep Yourself Alive, Tie Your Mother Down, and The Show Must Go On, just to name a few. He's an amazing songwriter and musician in general, and most people don't realize that.
He is not underrated my friend. :)

Its impossible to not like Queen. They are so freaking good. Im 24 and spend hours listening to other legendary bands (zeppelin, beatles, stones, floyd, U2 and many others) and i liked them all, but there is only 1 conclusion for me. Queen is the greatest band of all time. Freddie and the harmonies of the band are fenomenal. We will never see anything like Queen again.

This song was one of the first that I actually memorized the lyrics when I was just a kid .I really liked the fun tempo. At that time I didn’t even know the band mates let alone the lyrics ment but I liked their song , like to play in the piano but because my older brother liked Queen, so I liked them too. I had tape recorder at that time , had a recording of their songs, listened to it over and over and wrote the lyrics down and that’s how I memorized the song.Now , I’m 59 , I can still sing their song by memory alone . 😊

He is absolutely addicting! I don't listen to much of anything else but Queen. There seriously is no nothing else that compares to Freddie's voice, charisma, lyrics and he looks sexy as hell with every different look he has sported through his (way to short) lifetime.

I teach guitar and have just spent the last 2 evenings studying this song. Apart from the fact that I’ve always loved the track it is a work of genius by all of the band. I had to RUclips it live to see how it sounded and it was still incredible with all the harmonies, beautiful chord sequence and great guitar work. As a band they are as tight as it comes and John Deacon deserves praise for his part too. When you think this is just one song from their back catalogue it is astonishing what they achieved. This level of talent is simply not around anymore. Awesome musicianship 🙁🎸

Huge Queen and Freddie fan here! I love Don't Stop Me Now, I'm Going Slightly Mad, The Show Must Go On, and pretty much all their masterpieces. Freddie is so missed.
His voice was spectacular I'm 11 years old and I'm in love with Freddie he is just so unique and he has helped me get through so much that just shows the power of music

Gen Zero actually only parts of it are live. Most of Freddie's singing and the piano are from the studio version. Its kinda obvious when he gets up from the piano and it magically keeps playing :p

It is not live at all. If you knew anything about music you would know this was pre recorded and i mean studio recorded it is just a different mix to the album version that is all.
Nothing is live they are miming it is a slightly different mix with a slightly different vocal track.

My cats do this two. They can be very playful and knock a lot of things over, but as soon as I need things to be quiet so I can focus I play Queen or one of Freddie's songs from his solo career. They come up and lay on my chest as they watch the video. After they've seen one full video they go and lay by my feet and listen to Freddie because I'm sure they've already memorized all the videos for each song. The two normally fall asleep. Freddie still has a way with cats even after death, and that is one of the many reasons we all love him.
