Here Marvel Comics artist Paolo Rivera talks about his process for painting and drawing his iconic covers and interiors. For more comic book lore go to thecomicarchive...
I'm definitely more of a Star Wars man myself. Yes, there will be more videos in the future. The old day job has been needing a lot of my attention this year, as well as a few road bumps in the personal life. But I hope to get some videos in the bag and get back to posting regularly. There are two videos that I have already shot but have not had time to edit so those will be coming in the (relatively) near future. Thanks for watching!
i sketch portraits but always loved comics but only drew batman when i was like 10. but now its growing on me and want to draw the walking dead, batman, dare dvil punisher, preacher. its amazing.
One of my all time favourite Daredevil covers is from him. Its Daredevil #7 (its DD on top of a water tower making snow angels) from Mark Waid's run. I think Paolo was able to encapsulate the essence of Waid's run and the optimism. His use of light and shadow, simple clean lines and that pop of red color is brilliant.
Wow! Is this how the comic artist wonderful to be? I am a comic artist because I am the creator to begin writing and drawing in the property to work for the Covenant.
For the interviews I cut out very very little. I feel the same way you do, the only thing is I chop them up by subject so that people can find what parts interest them most. But its all up there. Some of the older ones I did were done in big chunks. There's a half hour interview with Joe Kubert up on my channel, and one with Simon Fraser too. These new videos however aren't interviews, so those I do have to make into little edited videos which just takes a little more time.
Have you done any new vids , 'cause I really appreciate the quality of the material gathered . So please notify me and all of us if you done more or are you still shootin' the interviews ;D MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU or if you are a trekie : LIVE LONG AND PROSPER or plain normal : THANK YOU GOODBYE
You said that you edit your videos , but what kind of material do you cut out , anything important . It would be really nice to have a whole vid here nothing taken out or edited so if you can link me or post something that lasts more than 10 - 15 min. Thank you for all you've done and ... .. MAY MORE VIDEOS BE POSTED ;)
Thanks for making these, I really enjoy watching them.
