Excellent upload of my favourite meal ! as you say at this time of year there is nothing more warming and comforting than a stew ,I remember my Grandma's and my Mothers stews and there was nothing left in the dish afterwards ! have a great Thursday Mate :-)
Great looking stew, that'll hit the spot on a cold, wet day. My Granny always used flour to thicken up things like stew as well, but I also use the gravy granules when I can. It gives more flavour than plain flour. Good job. 👍
Proper Trencherman vittles right there, Andy🤤. I like to cook stews etc in my big ass 20 year old Tower stove top pressure cooker, mate. Ham hocks, bacon ribs, lamb shanks and ox tongue too... can't beat the flavour you get, imo👍
@@fatandyMate, the pressure drives all the flavours deep into the food, and cuts cooking time by 2/3rds👍. Proper Brucie bonus with energy prices what they are😡. Great for cheap cuts, they come out tender as butter🤤
@@fatandy Ha! Worth a go mate, nowt to lose🤷♂️🤞. There's some fancy ones out there, but I'm old school stove top...Nokia 301 user, here🙀🙄. Keep it simple, keep it real👍

Proper grub! I make my dumplings with Atora. I could eat just those and the gravy 😋 When I can get it, I like to use bone-in shin of beef... all that delicious, tasty marrow Good job, Andy!
Made it myself the same earlier today aswell mate just didn't add the dumplings this time, certainly the weather for it getting colder and crispier. Had mine with some tiger bread
Your best ever Fat Andy, meat on the bones and proper food that sticks to your stomach. One of the best stews out there but I agree I would prefer mutton but you can't get it anywhere in the supermarket for love no money which is a real shame. Maybe because it's not halal eh 😭😭🙈
Im nearly at yours mate on me skates..if your busy just leave my portion outside in a foil wrapped wheelbarrow dont worry i got my own silver spoon...cheers...😂😂✌
@@fatandy Just thought like you know your French rabbit on food like its diamond dust lol...us brits we put in pan we cook it quick do our quick thing n bosh we done....Italians n French turn it into festival a bit lol...Good on em
