Nicely done Tom. . I'm glad you all had an enjoyable time together. Your talk thru was well done chap. I enjoy it when you throw this extra information in. . Good stuff.
We love your videos and your friends and never apologize for doing the local history. Some of us are far away, like myself in the States and we enjoy the color history brings to the experience.
Snails everywhere! Three unsuspecting backpackers attacked while they slept by carnivorous snails ... has the makings for a cheesy horror flick. Phew, glad you made it! Great video!
Thanks for subscribing mate much appreciated. Unfortunately you won't see the others anymore as I don't hear from Matt anymore, like he fell off the face of the earth, and me and Candice parted ways amicably a year ago now.
@TOM OUTDOORS cheers Tom for the update. At least we can all still enjoy the video of you all . A moment in time. Captured on film. You inspired me to do a river walk last Friday in Shoreham -by-Sea,
Nice one Tom! I love to camp near rivers, lakes or the sea. You ever think of camping using a boat to get about? Also that old mout kiwi is real nice , I’ve got great memories of drinking two of them in summer in a river in snowdonia
i now have two contacts who have actual boats. its just whenever they are free. i want to get a boat trip out to the Maunsel Sea Forts off Whitstable and explore the pier remains in the sea at Herne Bay. and do Darnet Fort in the Medway ofc. thats it really.
I thought you were going to do the Bearded Tit joke. but i thought you were going to insert a clip of you dancing in the history talk. still funny though, but that's why we all watch your videos because you mix it all in the videos. but most of all enjoying the moment and having a laugh.
Great little video, nice to see Matt out of the woods. Excellent history also 😉 I love that you do both camping and history, really gives you a feel for the areas you go to... Unless your a uneducated moronic f**kwit that can't handle both at the same time 😁 atb James
Hi Tom. If you are still in Kent there is a place called the Isle of Sheppy just before you get to the estuary of the River Medway which takes you up to Rochester, Chatham and Srood. But, just off of the coast of Isle os Sheppy there is the wreak of a ship called the 'USS Richard Montgomery.' ( sunk WWII) I have sailed past it on many occasions but it is jamb packed with so much armaments that it is constantly monitored by the Royal Navy Divers and explosive branches. It is a case of not (if) it explodes its a case of (when) it explodes it will take out everything with in a 10 mile radius. This is not a joke, more info reguarding this vessel is free to all members of the public if needed. Happy hunting but take out a life insurance policy first. Good luck. Grazie.
i've heard all about it yes and looked into it. tempted to make a short video on it. it might not explode, it might decay enough to the point that the ordinance is no longer a threat or can't explode. but sheppey would be toast. better get over there soon to film more lol. cheers.
Hi again Tom. Just posted you more info on the Montgomery and there may be a few ( NO TOURS ) but local fishers who may take you out there and give you further info. There is also Dead mans Island near there that is strewn with bones from the plague victims from London. You may be asking how I know so much about it its because I keep my cruiser at Chatham on the River Medway. There is also another snippet of info, as a 12yr old boy Admiral Lord Nelson stepped aboard a ship at Chatham Docks for his first ever sea voyage, the name of the ship was Endevour. Once again good luck to you and your Motley Crew. Grazie.
Hi Tom - great video, as always! I have just sent you an email to your gmail email address about your sizewell wild camp...I hope you get it! Cheers, Tim
