This needs upvotes. All straight bangers. But since he's heard Two Weeks, I think he should try some more Fall of Ideals stuff like Six. Or even a song or two from This Darkened Heart.
The best metalcore album for me is probably Jane Doe by Converge, although despite its label as metalcore it sounds like a completely different genre to me. “We are the romans” by Botch probably comes in at a close second, although again whether you’d class that as metalcore (as opposed to math metal or something else) is up for debate.
That’s an epic album. The double bass in that song is beyond incredible. Still have to hear Chiron and Six from All That Remains. In your own time, look at the “This Calling” drum track so you get a better idea of how beyond crazy his playing is.
As a passive-aggressive metalhead who lives in an area where country music is super popular, whenever I used to be in a parkinglot or gas station where someone was blasting something annoyingly twangy, I used to crank my speakers and then throw this on as I drove past, haha. That opening scream worked wonders lol
I’m glad you did the lyric version because everyone else reacts to the music video and because it was associated with the movie Saw it’s a little gore-y and everyone acts all squeamish instead of listening to the music.
Phil Labonte was the original singer for Shadows Falls the album they recorded with him is called Somber Eyes to the Skies but on that album he did all of death metal style vocals ... Then he either quit or got fired and started ALL THAT REMAINS and their 1st album was called BEHIND SILENCE and SOLITUDE
"I'm Phil Labonte lead singer of All That Remains, anti-communist and counter revolutionaray" - Phil at least once a week on Timcast irl haha he's a beast, based af
I was just looking through all that remains jams on youtube, and stumbled upon this. Your energy matched my nostalgia and you earned a subscriber. Just a bonus that you're a patriot! Keep on man.
Me too. 2006, they opened for Drafgonforce. We were there for ATR, though. We met Phil outside after the concert. Dude was just standing there having a smoke. Nice guy.
R.I.P. Oli, had the pleasure of meeting him once after a concert. The band wasn't doing pics or autographs but Oli came back out and hung out with a few of us for a couple minutes and took a few pics and stuff. Super nice guy!
I fucks w the setup and the support for the president. Refreshing to see someone not hate on the dude for zero reason, beside the point just discovered you today and I love the content. You’re listening to everything I grew up on 😂
Empty Inside is my favorite off of this album, you should give it a spin The drummer is Shannon Lucas. Hands down one of my all time favorites. He only appeared on this album with ATR, but his best work was with The Black Dahlia Murder for sure.
Six by ATR was my first metal song that sent me down this amazing journey of metal. I was in 6th maybe 7th grade. I had to get this album, and for me, every single damn song on there was absolutely amazing. You cant go wrong with any song. Love and appreciate ATR to a degree I cant explain in words. My first CD I bought with my own money. Bro I am so happy you listened to them. Love this.
I seen them a few times live and they can kill it as long as phil doesnt feel disrespected or like people arent into it enough. He will leave it all on the stage and blow your mind if he feeds off the crowds energy. They havent been able to break through with new music in a minute.
This song, Six (on this same album), and As I Lay Dying's 94 Hours were the first metalcore songs I ever heard. 15+ years later I have never looked back.
ATR released some phenomenal material back then. The Fall of Ideals is more commercially accessible, but This Darkened Heart is their best, in my opinion. They had a few sub-par albums in a row in recent years, but their latest release is a return to form.
@@kellendobmeier9876 I personally enjoy Fall of Ideals as an album more than any of their albums. I'm a tiny bit biased because it's the first metal album I really enjoyed. But yeah the songs are really balanced and produced well for once. This Darkened Heart sounds a little rougher. Really heavy though. Overcome was starting to veer in a more melodic direction but I thought it was still well balanced.
@@kellendobmeier9876 Also, Fall of Ideals and Horizons by Parkway Drive are the only albums to get me to feel much of anything from a solo. They both had some of my favorite ones. Then having a breakdown startup in the middle of a solo. Great songwriting and playing
Man I remember listening to this in middle school on my iPod nano (first edition before video capabilities) My friends and I destroyed our ear drums with those stock apple ear buds. Baseball practice at 3:15pm sharp. Now I teach middle school. Man, thanks for bringing me back.
Gibby, you're a legend. Any chance we could get an Oldie but Goodie? Saosin - Voices ...or "I can tell there was an accident here earlier" or "Seven Years" I just want to pass these guys on to another generation.
Probably my most favorite ATR songs ever! This and Fuck Love. Glad to see a channel hitting some ATR. You need to get some 36 Crazy Fists on the the channel. Another great metalcore band
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH SHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE this song😊🤘 this one my first song I heard by these guys. I pretty much know the whole drum parts to this song.
My good bud listen to All That Remains - SIX
Underated comment
Go ahead and tell em listen to whole album. The album is a banger
Or listen to It Dwells In Me
Six is sooooo good!
Six hits hard.
One of the best metalcore albums ever made. The fall of ideals! Nothing but bangers on this album.
Highly agree.
Absolutely, criminally underrated
Literally from start to finish is amazing. I tell everyone this is the album they showed off in. You get everything you need and want in this album.
That is a true statement if i ever heard one!
All killer, no filler
I would recommend
All that Remains- Two weeks
All that Remains- Hold On
All that Remains- Chiron
All that Remains- Forever in your hands ...
He already reacted to two weeks
This needs upvotes. All straight bangers. But since he's heard Two Weeks, I think he should try some more Fall of Ideals stuff like Six. Or even a song or two from This Darkened Heart.
What about Six? Did he already react to that one?
@@jcgmusic16 naw, but that's definitely required. I just didn't say it because everyone else is already
Whispers is a good one
Best metalcore album of all of time.
And you can't change my mind.
Alive Or Just Breathing is my favorite metalcore album of all time. But I can’t deny that Fall Of Ideals is a certified classic too.
I'm partial to This Darkened Heart or one of the later As I Lay Dying albums, but The Fall of Ideals is iconic
This then shadows are security

The fall of ideals is top 5 metalcore of all time for sure. Check out The Air That I Breathe! Such a sick track.
For we are many is also a all time great
@@knotadoctor1455 Agreed! Both of those albums are definitely in the metalcore pantheon.
RIP Oli. These guys are among the Metalcore kings!!!
The mister solo
deathcore not metalcore

In your own time, look at the “This Calling” drum track so you get a better idea of how beyond crazy his playing is.
CHIRON
I met Phil in DC a few months ago. Dude was dope and down to earth. He gave me some pointers on screaming.
As a passive-aggressive metalhead who lives in an area where country music is super popular, whenever I used to be in a parkinglot or gas station where someone was blasting something annoyingly twangy, I used to crank my speakers and then throw this on as I drove past, haha. Just noticed this song literally does not stop with energy
The next you should do from this band is
All That Remains - Chiron
A song from the album after this, it is a 10000% certified banger!
100000% agreed
Chiron goes hard!
Agrreed fuckin killer song🤘
That is what All That Remains does it hypes you up and makes you want to break shit. This entire album is a classic
If he reacts to Six, it's game over folks.
I’m glad you did the lyric version because everyone else reacts to the music video and because it was associated with the movie Saw it’s a little gore-y and everyone acts all squeamish instead of listening to the music.
This is still one of the best metalcore songs ever written.
I'm probably late to the party but;
Two Weeks - All That Remains is always a banger
RIP Oli, man was truly ingenious with melodies, hopefully justice comes out of all of it 😤
Bro, do "Six" next. Favorite song off this album.
Phil Labonte was the original singer for Shadows Falls the album they recorded with him is called Somber Eyes to the Skies but on that album he did all of death metal style vocals ... AtR is killer, Six is great, My focus shall not fail is awesome, some deeper cuts would be the waiting one
Thank god! Been waiting for this one
War of Ages is a pretty damn good metalcore band! One of the bands that makes metalcore listenable to this day
"I'm Phil Labonte lead singer of All That Remains, anti-communist and counter revolutionaray" - Phil at least once a week on Timcast irl haha he's a beast, based af
You forget that he is also a “failed musician”
Listen to Inside the Horror by Chimaira!
Nothing Remains and Power Trip also
The Fall Ideals is one of the all time great metal albums from beginning to end.
Great video
I was just looking through all that remains jams on youtube, and stumbled upon this. Your energy matched my nostalgia and you earned a subscriber. Just a bonus that you're a patriot! Keep on man.
That is their best album hand's down. " The Air That I Breathe" has to be next!
They were my first ever concert
Me too. 2006, they opened for Drafgonforce. We were there for ATR, though. We met Phil outside after the concert. Dude was just standing there having a smoke. Nice guy.
That last chorus of the song always gives me chills
Litterally the song that got me into MetalCore! Forever changed my life!..Metalcore for Life! Cant wait to be 80 banging to these tunes!
R.I.P. Oli, had the pleasure of meeting him once after a concert. The band wasn't doing pics or autographs but Oli came back out and hung out with a few of us for a couple minutes and took a few pics and stuff. Super nice guy!
You were missing from my feed lately Gibby! Glad to see you were back on and to see a reaction to All That Remains
Definitely one of the best Metalcore albums of all time ❤️

I saw All that remains open up for Black Label Society in shitcago. Hands down one of the best concerts of my life. 🤘
You know it’s good when you start flexin’ for no reason 😅💪🏻
Being part of This Darkened Heart and Behind Silence and Solitude, trust me when I say, you already knew those real ones do bring it back 🤣🤘🤌
Fun fact: The drummer on this album, Shannon Lucas, went to play for The Black Dahlia Murder after he left All That Remains!
This is the best Metalcore album made.
Im Not Alone by All That Remains. This album is classic. I’m telling ya, you won’t be disappointed!!👊🏻👊🏻
RIP Oli man this group has a huge influence on my taste of music much love!
Absloute masterpiece of an album.. thats how you make music
Yes this is a classic in metalcore.
React the The Weak Willed from this album next!!!
ATR the greatest generation is about everything that made this country great. A great song with a message
Hahahahah Gibby getting all them feels.... I mean how can you not???? This is one of the greatest metalcore jams of mid 2000s.
I seen them in Atlanta a couple of times. Love them.

Shannon Lucas drummed on this one, and later joined The Black Dahlia Murder to release the greatest melodic death metal album Nocturnal.
What a throwback! This should be interesting
Love your videos gibby!!!, so much energy bro!, keep it up!!

The whole album is great everybody is right. You love metal core enough to just go listen to the whole damn thing.
Six - all that remains

Saosin - Voices ...or "I can tell there was an accident here earlier" or "Seven Years"
