One of my favourite First Take episodes because of how drastically different the song is. When artists release a Naked version of their songs this is what I like to hear. Stripped back and raw. She nailed it too, pure perfection.
Handsdown Fav vocal performance of First Take till date. Heck this is easily in my all time top 5 acapella live, bar none. And that was since my very first listen when I didn't know anything about this artist. And everytime I rewatch this, I'm further convinced. The only unfortunate thing is, this has set my standard for acapella so high I don't know if I'll ever be impressed again 😅 Seriously though, I know vocalists that are technically much more superior and those more emotional. But delivering on both with such raw intensity and with a song that facilitates it so well... is just truly, truly rare.
